Publisher's summary

Believed dead by his packmates, Micah Chase, a wolf shifter and Dreamwalker, was held captive for months, subject to tortures that left him physically scarred and emotionally unsettled. Now under the care of the Alpha Pack's doctors, he's been prescribed an experimental healing drug, but he still can't shake the nightmares. Even more damning is that Micah's problems pose a danger to his team, and if he doesn't get himself under control, they'll all suffer a terrible fate. There is a key to his salvation.

Jacee is a beautiful coyote shifter, and though her kind is hated, she's falling in love with a man whose very future is in her hands. Together they'll face his personal demons as well as a deadly enemy - and for both of them desire has never come with such risk.

Powerful

Micah's story had me on edge. I may have gone a different route, but Micah deserved redemption. JC is definitely not who I would have picked for his mate, but in the end she's prefect. I look forward to Nix's and Noah's story; Raven's; and now Faith's.

Bring back Kirsten Potter!!!

They need to bring back the narrator that did the first 5 books Kirsten Potter!!
For some reason Marguerite Gavin changed the voices from the last book she did. All of a sudden Cerial has an Irish accent and Kalen is British. No consistency. And her voice is just not good.

Can You Say, Sexy Beast?

Would you listen to Chase the Darkness again? Why?

I love J D Tyler's work. I have listened to his other books repeatedly.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Chase the Darkness?

I think the most memorable moment was when the brother is leaving Sanctuary and bumps into Jacee. You just feel something is not right?

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have listened to all of this authors books in one sitting. I can't help myself. In fact, I fall asleep in the wee hours of the morning and back it up and listen to the story again and again, until I get it all.

Good book but not very good narration..

At 28% I wasn’t crazy about this book. I mean, I was already tired of Micah popping pills every time he turned around. So far I’ve loved the other 6 books but I thought this was going to be a bummer. I could see that bondmate thing wasn’t between Micah and Jaycee wasn’t going to be easy. OK, I was wrong. It turned out to be a pretty good read. Loved Micah and Jacee, and it’s been a while since I’d read the last book that I thought I’d forgotten all the players. I was wrong about that too. I remembered Sariel as soon as his name was mentioned. He was my favorite character in every book, the magical blue Fae. He was awesome.

I have to tell you, though, that Micah had a couple of near death experiences. The first was such a huge surprise I had to read the sentence twice. The second was when a huge eagle shifter nearly tore him apart, before his pack saved him. I will tell you the silliest thing in this book was when Micah was told they had to take out his spleen and his appendix and made it sound so serious that they had to remove his appendix. Really? I think all an appendix is for is to have it rupture and nearly kill you. I think it was just silly, that’s all. And speaking of silly. This is book 7 of 7. BUT there is a 7.5 and at the end of this book the last page was about a wolf dragging himself to the front of the packs headquarters and it ended. That’s an opening for another book but this book was published August 2015. Almost 2 years and still no book about the dying wolf Ari?

There was explicit sex in this book and the F-bomb was used about 90 times.

As to the narration: I have no idea why Kirsten Potter didn’t narrate books 6 and 7 and 7.5.
After all those books Marguerite Gavin was just drab in her narration

Great book

I have read all but wolf fall. Each one is different but each one once I have pick it up I cannot put it down until I have finished it. I love fictional romances and shift shapers are one of my favorites and the narrator of this book I have heard in another series she is great. She bring a story to life. Not a very good writer but hope everyone understands what I am trying to say.

Make the Addiction Stop!

The storylines are really engaging and filled with action. The intimate scenes are a little repetitive, especially if your binging, but I find myself wondering what’s going to happen next!

Change in pace, learn to love the characters

The book was slow to start and you new right away who the mated match was, would of liked to of had more suspense on that part. With that being said after the first few chapter I really got into the story. I thought mist would of played a bigger role and the villain wouldn't of been so obvious. I do have a few chapters left but feel it won't be a big change.

ummm..

Im kinda disappointed that there is a new narrator, not that shes not good, but I hate when that happens. The other thing that threw me off was that some characters developed accents.
