For the last decade, he has carried that guilt and need for vengeance around. Now, with his best friend getting married and no longer needing his protection, he is even more lost, completely adrift, and desperate for some control. Melissa Larson will never let anyone hold the reins in her life. She has been the rock in her family for more years than she can remember, and the fight to keep them together is her main priority right now. The second Greg locks eyes with Meli, he knows that she is someone he needs. Someone he craves. Meli knew the second she met Greg that he would be nothing but trouble and heartache. These Corps Security guys are all hot, sexy, tattooed Alpha types and Cage had the added advantage of 'below the waist' piercings too. He's a good friend, loyal and protective and all this, and much much more, comes out when he meets Melissa because their chemistry turns straight into lust.... quickly followed by passion and lots of sex. They both have tragedy in their pasts which brings them closer together but Cage kept secrets and guilt that he should've shared with Melissa from the start which nearly blew them apart.

It was a great story with heartache from the past, heartache and murder in the present, a mad and bitter ex, entertaining secondary characters, there was humor, a sweet 3 yr old boy and two strong and sensible main characters who loved, supported and understood each other. However, there was angst and suspense too and Cage had to put in a call for help from his old MC buddy who dealt with the situation his way!

My only negative was the ending which I found a bit choppy with a Bonus Chapter that I think should have been put in the last few chapters. Then there's a Deleted Scene and finally the Epilogue. It was a bit weird but it didn't spoil the listen at all.

Dual POV's and both narrators did a great job with the all the characters and the many emotions called for.

Worth a credit? This is a series that I'll gladly listen to until it ends...... so YUP, IMHO, Harper Sloan is a very creditworthy author.

Greg is a beast & Melissa is the beauty

What made the experience of listening to Cage the most enjoyable?

Abby and Sean do a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cage?

When Greg calls Breaker and tells him Breakneck.

Have you listened to any of Abby Craden and Sean Crisden ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They also narrated Axel and both were done fantastically!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but didn't have enough time to sit and listen to the whole book in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I've read all of Harper Sloan's book. Can't wait to revisit Greg and Melissa in Uncaged.
