Publisher's summary

Two beautiful souls.

Two seemingly innocent deceptions.

Once they meet, Stevie and Ford explode into one another in a ball of lust, hotter than a July moon. Ford is assertive, dominant, and in control; that is, until Stevie brings him to his knees. He thinks she's the most beautiful woman he's ever met both inside and out. Stevie thinks he's sweet, and sort of goofy - of course it doesn't hurt that he drips sex like honey.

Stevie is starting to fall hard for Ford.

And Ford is all in with Stevie.

She wonders if he could ever forgive her for what she's about to do.

She wonders if she wants him to.

They say love conquers all.

But love never met two liars like Stevie and Ford.

His lie cost her a few sleepless nights.

Her lie will cost him everything.

EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER WITH A HEA!!

What did you love best about Burning Through Gravity?

This book took me on a range of emotions, from hate, to love, sadness, excitement, confusion, anger...fear, and hope! I didn't know if I was going to love this book till about the middle...but I did!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Stevie, she is damaged, yet beautiful....even though there were times I wanted to smack her a little bit....lol

Which scene was your favorite?

Oh there are so many...but when her mom calls her Clare....I was shocked!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would be a twisted movie....but I bet it would be a blockbuster hit!

Any additional comments?

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BOOK, AND THE NARRATION IS FLAWLESS!!

Oh my Caitlin...you are one of my most fave narrators now...I am going to rank you up there with Tavia Gilbert, and Marguerite Gavin..I hope you take that as a compliment...those 2 ladies have kept me awake both laughing and crying more nights than I can remember! Thank You!

I had to take breaks from this book off and on, because of Stevie's odd and cruel behavior at times...but it was never for long...I kept being drawn back..and before I would know it, 2 more hours would pass...and I wouldn't even realize it! lol This book tortured my emotions....I was very invested!!! lol

Stevie has lived her young life in heartbreak, she has been neglected, and suffered the loss of her twin...She says at the very beginning that she has made grief her b!tch...and from that moment on I knew I could bond with Stevie! She is planning her suicide the night she meets him...Ford, and from that moment on they were meant to be. Stevie's father is a cruel, rich, womanizer...Stevie being the result of one his many affairs...he sets Stevie up with an internship at Jinks, Ford's company..well from the beginning Ford and Stevie have not been honest with each other and neither knows each others true identities...Stevie's father makes a deal with her, if she gives him inside info on Fords company and helps him steal it, he will put her back in the will...but Stevie's in love....what should she do...She is such a damaged child...She gives in...but in the end...love conquers all!

I NEED BOOK 2 ASAP!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU LIKE A STORY WHERE YOUR HEART GETS RIPPED OUT AND PUT BACK TOGETHER SEVERAL TIMES...AND LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS!!!! THIS BOOK WILL KEEP YOU GUESSING..SO DON'T TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT....JUST KEEP LISTENING!!!

New Adult meets Romantic Suspense!

This book started out extremely melodramatic. I listened to ten minutes and decided to listen to it some other time. I started it again yesterday, and I'm so glad I did!!

The beginning IS extremely melodramatic, but it's not some overly 'poor me' character as I suspected. Get past that part and things begin making sense.

This was a great story. I think it would be better categorized in the 'romantic suspense' category rather than 'new adult'. I'm not sure how it happened, but it seems like all 'new adult' book are just love stories with erotica and some very obvious plot. That is NOT the case with this book. It's deep, it's fairly dark and completely unpredictable.

Strange Behavior By Heroine - Could Have Been 5*'s

I love about 90% of this book. It was hot, believable and kept my interest.

The other 10%, if written like the rest of the book, would have received five fantastic, unquestionable, out of this world stars. However, there were several instances that the author set up that were very juvenile – junior high school drama.

For example: Stevie and Ford decide that they want to be together, Stevie pushes for Ford to date his previous girlfriend, to be certain that he is no longer interested in her. What? Who does this? Those sorts of scenes repeat.

However, as Stevie is 'forcing' Ford to prove his faithfulness to her - SHE but all the while Stevie is with him in the romantic - carnal sense. If the guy is going to be forced to try it with his ex-girlfriend, why would you want to be involved?

I decided to overlook these weird passages and stayed with it to the end, which was full of twists and turns and revelations that I couldn't follow and/or make no sense to the story.

The narration was out of this world. Caitlin Kelly knows her craft and she is an expert in delivery.

I recommend this book for the romance (and immature situations) but I feel that I would be wouldn't be authentic if I didn't point out the above caveats to potential readers. So I gave the story three stars, performance five stars and overall four stars.

I'm not sure if this is Addison Moore's first attempt at writing – if it is she did an exemplary job for a beginner and I will look at her other books in the future. Caitlin Kelly is a new to me performer, but as I said above she is a true professional and if I'm interested in the book and see that she narrates it, I will certainly get it.

Notes: Many descriptions of sex, strong language

For those two like the mature romance and are 18+ years old

Uhmmmm...Yes, Please!

Narration - Caitlin Kelly - Kick A$$ - Really terrific narration. Her voice is perfect for Stevie and she also has a good command of several believable male character voices! Storytelling ability is clean, clear and emotive. Kept me up half the night as I did not want to stop listening.

Now, for the story. Well, this is weird, because this is the kind of story that kind of annoys me. We have two characters, (Stevie and Ford) who are playing games with each other and can't seem to tell the other the truths that we, as readers, are all made aware of. You want to slap them, throw down your kindle, iPod, iPhone, whatever and just start slapping something or someone one! Evelyn "Evil-lynn" was indeed Evil and her crap was just on this side of - Come on...you've got to be kidding me! It was predictable, and yet, completely unpredictable because - Come on...you've got to be kidding me! :)

But...I loved this book. Could not stop listening. Absolutely loved Ford and yes, even all the crazy that is Stevie. I loved the premise of this book and found it to be unique in the way the characters lives were intertwined throughout their lives (while they weren't immediately aware of those connections) but how those connections brought them together and came full circle. For a good portion of the book, they pretty much torment each other (and yes, you'll want to slap and throw things) but, I don't know? Great writing? Great characters? In spite of all the things that normally don't work for me and make it painful for me to finish a book, it all just worked out in my mind. I guess I can reiterate how much I enjoyed the narration and the life that she breathed into the characters may be part of what kept me invested so that no matter how much I wanted to pull hair and roll my eyes (jello scene?) I HAD to know what happened. And the epilogue? *sniffs* Love, love, loved it!

Oh...and the sex? Uhmmmm... yes, please!

Book two is out in Kindle, and I want to dive in right now! BUT, I have a feeling this will be another that I'll also want the audio version of (especially if it's as terrific as this one!)

Burning through gravity

Any additional comments?

The story is packed with jealously, lies, deceit, revenge, passion, hate, love, and betrayal. Yeah, it kept me on my toes. I was listening and being cocky, "Oh, I see where this is going." when out of no where Addison throws a curve ball at me. Word to the wise...never think you are going to know what is going to happen next in this book because believe me you will be wrong. Very good audiobook.

absolute must read

Wow. I don't know where to begin. I went through every emotion with this book. I even got so mad I wanted to break something, but it was so damn good and worth every second of my heart pounding and my emotions going on a roller coaster ride.

Stevie and Ford were seemingly doomed from the start with Stevie's background. She is all kinds of messed up emotionally. She dreams of dying and being with her twin sister again, until she is saved for the 2nd time by Ford.

These two go through everything you can possibly imagine. At several points I wanted to choke both of them. They made their situation so much more miserable than it ever had to be.

I don't want to give away ANY details at all because than you will not experience the roller coaster ride along the way. It is so very worth it. This is absolute must read. Can't not wait to dig into book 2.

Romance, Drama, and Lies

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Most definitely. The story was great and kept my interest from the beginning to end. Whenever I thought it couldn't get any better, it did.

What did you like best about this story?

I never knew what was going to come next. There were many twists and turns that kept me interested in continuing on.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part was how Stevie got her revenge on "Evilyn" in the end. Anytime those two would have a scene together, I kept finding myself grumbling about "Evilyn" and rooting for Stevie.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Most definitely. I listened in the car on the way to and from work and while I worked. Once I started, I finished the book in 3 days. Then was sad it was over.

Burning Through This Book

Addison Moore is good. This book almost have it all. There is love, betrayal, backstabbing, making up, anger, and every other emotion known to man. The characters in this story are all strong and wonderfully written. I am even hoping some of them get their own story. I is that good a book!

When the book is narrated by Caitlin Kelly it even gets better! The 11 hrs and 20 mins flies by! Her voice is so sexy! So i want to recommend this on the highest!

Full of drama, intrigue, deceit and love

Burning Through Gravity was full to the brim with drama, intrigue, deceit, secrets, messed-up relationships, corporate espionage, crazy females, pretense, deaths, domestic abuse, second chances, daddy-issues, step-family issues and love. It was an absolutely wild ride and held my attention throughout. Almost anything you could think of was in there, and that's my main and only criticism. It became a little too much for me and turned into a slightly too unrealistic and over the top story. The writing itself was beautiful though.

The narration was good. It swaps between the female and male point of view, which was done effectively. All the other side characters, and there were quite a few, had easily distinguishable voices, so you always knew who was speaking.
