Publisher's Summary

Just a few weeks ago, computer prodigy China Mack's typical night in involved Endor Star Wars pajamas and a sensible bedtime. Now she's dating gorgeous tech guru Jackson Cooper - one of Forbes's Top 10 Eligible Billionaires - much to the Twitterverse's delight.

China's relationship gets even more complicated because her role heading the top-secret Vigilance program - where she's partnered with Superman clone Clark Slattery - makes her a target. Excellent Story & Audiobook

Great plot and although endearing and fascinating, some scenarios seemed implausible.

Still fast paced and adictive!! Definitely anesthetized the daily torture of Chicago rush hour traffic frozen in a perpetual state of pointless construction.
Ariel provided one of only two audio performances that I have actually enjoyed enough to say that it enhanced the story and did not make me cringe whenever transitioning from female to male characters. She absolutely captured the quirky, O.C.D. Brilliance of China Mack. Definitely going to read/listen to Book 3 of this series.

Carbon Copy

This series is the exact same as the Kathleen Turner series. Both series are a decent read but pick one or the other. It’s not enjoyable to read multiple series from an author and discover the same templet has been used for all of her work.

Things are about to get dangerous!

With a new job as head of Vigilance and Clarke as her new partner, China's life is about to become dangerous. Together with the popularity she's gained by being Jackson's girlfriend she hasn't gone unnoticed.
Break Me is book #2 of the brilliant four part Corrupted Hearts series which is narrated by the fabulous Arielle DeLisle. You won't want to miss it!

Good book

It was a good book, not as outstanding as the Kathleen Turner series nice to see old friends. Would have liked dual POV throughout so to randomly introduce it at the end of this book three me a bit. That ending makes me anticipate book three - I'm not a fan of this love triangle thing the author likes it makes me not want to invest in any of the characters but that's just a personal preference. Would definitely recommend.
I guess as a foreign reader my only bed bug is the disrespect the character/author have for other countries and what they stand for but I guess freedom of speech and all that
