Publisher's summary

In #1 New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts’s heartwarming tale, love doesn’t come easy in Big Sky country.

When Jillian Baron inherits her grandfather’s Montana ranch, she inherits a long-standing family feud as well. Living side by side with the Murdocks had bred contempt over the years. But now a common enemy has Jillian and Aaron Murdock contemplating a truce - and trying to tamp down a persistent spark that has sprung up between them. Forbidden territory has never looked so inviting, nor has putting the past behind them once and for all…

Old Great Classic

What did you love best about Boundary Lines?

I have owned this book since N.R. first wrote it and wanted to listen to it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Aaron and old ranch Forman. True cowboys of the west

What three words best describe Kate Rudd’s performance?

I am not a fan of K.R. reading. I own few of her reads due to my classic faves on audible. Her male voice is not too bad, but she is not my fave for female. I may come to like her, but will not seek out her reads as I do Karen White. Tanya Eby/Tatiana Sokolov turned me around on her reads so K.R. may do the same.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when Baby first takes a bottle

Any additional comments?

You must like N.R. old classics or you will find these stories dated material

Don’t waste a credit!

Unless you are into listening to vividly described sex scene after sex scene, I suggest you look elsewhere. While Nora Roberts titles usually have some sex in them, this one was mostly that with very little plot or storyline. I began fast forwarding through the book. I could tell you the entire story in one sentence. It was treated as a sideline to the sex.

Boring Boring Dulll

This book had no real plot or direction could only tolerate the first 3 chapters. The interaction between the main characters was predictable and boring

Get to the point!

As I said in the title, this is one of those stories you listen to for hours, and it doesn’t get to the point until the last 30 minutes. if you like the sort of book that has very little substance, with every other scene being how the main characters bed each other, you’ll love this one. The characters are likable, and the setting is lovely. I just prefer Nora Roberts when she’s writing a good mystery. I made the mistake of stocking up on a lot of these earlier books of hers, not realizing they aren’t much more than sex scenes and fluff. There’s always room for romance, but I don’t want an entire book of it. For that reason, I found it boring. if that’s the genre, you prefer, you would like this one.

Long history of neighbor hatred including several generations

The screeching yelling narration almost more than van be tolerated. I read a lot of books , this lady was the worst to listen to.

So good

Lots of romance with fun intrigue but left wanting a longer story. Kept thinking a murder would happen so if you are looking for a Nora Roberts murder mystery this is not the one.

I really like Nora Roberts, so it is hard to say anything bad about her. I like this book it's just not my favorite.

good but not the best

I like the storyline but I wish it had been more in depth. very basic ; he and she met, he and she fell in love, and then they got married.

Predictable

It one of Nora’s best stories. Kinda silly and very predictable. The narrator’s voice wasn’t the best either. Her man’s voice sounded like he had mush in his mouth with a forced low pitch. Very disappointed!

Quality early Roberts

Rudd’s narration brings new life to this early Roberts’ story which was originally published in 1985. This doesn’t feel as dated as you might guess. It’s an early example of the imperfect but likable characters Roberts is known for.
I’d rate this minimum 4.3 but gotta play with the stars.
