Awesome book! Extremely exciting and thought provoking. Worth the wait. A great compliment to the Breed series.

Good story

it is a good book. It is as good as any of the other books in the series. I was hoping by now for something unexpected in the relationship boy likes boy gets girl.

Bound to Darkness Book 13

Great book it is amazing to see how the next generation of the breed are grown. Some are managing their lives well and handling all that been breed means for the in a world that is much dangerous and difficult to live with. Especially now that their been has already was forced out into opening. The nature of the peace is standing on a very thin wall. Yet they are fight a different war now this time the enemy or enemies hindes from them while making their plans. They also have human alliance leader and some that were in the joint force justice are criminals who also has a hand in the destruction of the peace. That were fuge with united nations.
In this series we see the one commander based from Boston who is Chase. This time the person involved was his daughter and the breed mate she is going out. His father was responsible for many of the killers. Carys Chase and her bread male is Rune were the 💑 that is in the center. They faced this problems to the best of their abilities and they also gave the best that they can.
Both fought with everything they have to protect themselves from the father of Rune from killing his own son because of his desire to gain power. All he wants his nothing but pain and suffering to the humanity and breed. But this couples fights to the bitterness of their abilities until their help came but Cary Chase did get Neville Fielding did not get away. she made sure he got the pain he has being giving before taking him out.

Very good story. I love all her breed books. the story of the next generation is exciting.

Unexpected Twists

This book is action packed with so many unexpected twists. Loved Carys and Rune’s story, the heat, the mystery, the action. Great addition to the series. Really good performance from Hilary Huber.

Battle filled!

Rune is a powerful Breed male and full of strength and stamina. Caris is a beautiful Breed Ferndale and day walker. She us Erik's twin and spunky and feisty. They make a great mated pair. But with Rune's dark secrets from his past, it's liable to get Caris hurt or even killed once his father comes back in the picture. I can hardly wait for the next book. Keep them coming Lara!

I would have preferred the paperback version

I like the action in this series, and the mystery and ultimately the romance too. Some annoying parts though. First, our main character Cary was lacking in common sense during critical moments. Second I wanted more of this amazing story and less steam. Narrative was ok but sometimes monotone.

As Expected

I struggled to complete this book. The start of this series was full throttle with action and love...now everything is almost predicatable. I hate to say this because I am super fan of this author and series but I wanted more something. lol

Good but...

I wasn't ever a fan of the Chase's so I'm not surprised this isn't my favorite of the series. It was a good story though and I did enjoy the different POV with all the characters. However the ending was way to short and we never got to know what she thought of his secret? Or what was his other secret?
