Publisher's Summary

The ultimate fall from grace....
Lokan Krayl held enviable privileges and powers. Powers that led to a devastating betrayal: murder. Resurrected by his immortal brothers, Lokan is still trapped in purgatory. He has no way to contact his family. He has no answers. In order to find the truth about his death, and who killed him, he must escape his prison. And there’s only one way out: through the 12 gates of his eternal enemy, Osiris.
But Lokan has help. Bryn Carr, the woman who duped him once before, is his beautiful yet unwanted guide. She’s been sent by his brothers to aid him. She’s his last hope. Lokan must place his fate - and that of the mortal and immortal worlds - in the hands of the one woman he can never trust.

Could not stop listening

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I finished the audiobook, last of the 4-part series, and would love to have learned what happened to the daughter. Unfortunately I started at book#2 (of 4), finished the series, and now#1 is spoiled. Do yourself a favor and start at #1 - it contains important background info for the rest of the series.

A bit disappointing

The reader reviews were so good for this book that I was vastly disappointed when I actually began listening to it. The readers are forced to hear so much irrelevant info that after the first few hours I actually began fast forwarding through parts and was able to cut a couple hours of frustration out of my life. I certainly was tired of listening to how the heroin met the hero after the third time. Each time the scene was described, I believe the author forgot completely that it was told before so the same entire story kept getting described over and over. Not impressed at all.
