Publisher's summary

Kelli MacCabe is a no-nonsense detective with a tough exterior. Only a select few know her as a loyal, loving friend. Committed to her family, her friends, and her job, Kelli puts her needs behind everyone else's.

As a surgeon, Nora Whitmore is used to being in control. The hospital is her life and leaves room for little else. Respected by her colleagues, but misunderstood by the residents, Nora takes what she needs and keeps everyone at arm's length. In the process, she creates unexpected enemies.

Tragedy brings them together. As chaos grows around them, the lines between them begin to blur. Despite being from different worlds, friendship grows between them, turning quickly to attraction. Will these two strong, independent women find a way to deal with their individual baggage? Or will they be overcome by it?

Crossing Over

This is a most distinctive book! The characters are very true to life! The book is well written, the story line is off the charts and the blunt in your face speech is true to life! The reader is excellent and I love this author I discovered! Now where is book two? Need book two and three please! Left me hanging!! Book two!! Please!! A well written book worth reading!!

ENJOYED!...

I enjoyed this audio book. I thought the story line was good and enjoyed the character personalities and quirks. I am disappointed that there are no more audiobooks available for this series. Hoping the author comes around and makes the remaining books available in audio soon.

Loved it.

This was a really good book. I read it a few years ago and loved it then. I don't think I've ever listened to this narrator before, but I think she did an excellent job.
I see that the incredible Abby narrates the rest of the series, and I truly love Abby, she is definitely above average and one of my favorite. However, Sarah Grant really did do an awesome job in this audio and I would have loved to see her complete the series. That being said, I look forward to the rest of the series with the incredible Abby Craden.

Doctors and Cops are a perfect match.

Kelly is the worlds worst patient. Nora is the Attending Physician who oversees the residents and doctors. Their worlds collide and it’s magic. Great performance.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed listening to Blurred Lines. A change from some of the other stories I listen to. The pauses at times were a little distracting and I wish the ending had been a little different. But overall it was very good and I would definitely recommend. I will try other stories by this author.

Laugh Out Loud

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It's the perfect combination of a good story and great narrator. Kelly was written and performed with a fun sense of humor which had me laughing out loud on several occasions. Side note, as someone who listens to a lot of lesbian romance type novels I have grown tired of the common cliches in these books such as misunderstandings that lead to temporary break ups. There was absolutely none of that in this book. The story and the characters flowed naturally and organically, fears and all.

Ending

The book was great, the characters came to life. The tug and pull between the two main characters was a fun exchange. The ending seemed to be abrupt and not fulfilling. Hoping there will be more audiobooks of this series.
