New Adult Romance

Sometimes moving on means moving in

Pixie Marshall wishes every day she could turn back time and fix the past. But she can't. And the damage is done. She's hoping that a summer of free room and board working with her aunt at the Willow Inn will help her forget. Except there's a problem: The resident handyman is none other than Levi Andrews. The handsome quarterback was once her friend - and maybe more - until everything changed in a life-shattering instant. She was hoping to avoid him, possibly forever. Now he's right down the hall and stirring up feelings Pixie thought she'd long buried...

Levi can't believe he's living with the one person who holds all his painful memories. More than anything he wants to make things right, but a simple "sorry" won't suffice - not when the tragedy that scarred them was his fault. Levi knows Pixie's better off without him, but every part of him screams to touch her, protect her, wrap her in his arms, and kiss away the pain. Yet even though she's so close, Pixie's heart seems more unreachable than ever. Seeing those stunning green eyes again has made one thing perfectly clear-he can't live without her.

A good book

It was interesting. I really like the way two people can work out their differences and come together. Despite what you go through talk it through the pain.

Loved this book

Well done, kept me awake and interested while driving across farm land. Characters were well developed and the story line was unique.

I love This Trilogy!!!

I've always been a huge fan of trilogies where each book is about a different character yet that are in the same friend group. I started reading them when I was sick with Mano freshmen year of high school. I've always loved the concept of teenagers struggling with love and school and this is perfect! I'm eagerly waiting for my next credit to be avaliable to get the next book! The only complaint is that I wish it ended little different/romantically but I do understand and love the concept of the game. Great job! Books like these inspire me to keep trying on writing books!

I tried

I tried to get into this book the story isn't so bad that I wouldn't be able to finish it, but the fact that it's is a female/male pov book and they used the female for all of it really was just too much to ignore and just listen. I couldn't do it. maybe I'll have to finish the book by reading it myself but even hitting chapter 15 I still wasn't too invested. I returned it.
