Meghan March outdid herself with this tale. It is a gripping story ... not what you expect and totally engaging. The narration was stellar, the story line strong and interesting. The description says it all. There is a twist or two that is unexpected and this is a story that is credit worthy which I am glad to report after a long line of not worthy material over the last month! The hero is an "anti-hero" of sorts, there is a bit of competition from a worthy detective who has a history with the heroine .... and despite her proper, privileged upbringing she is torn between the two strong males. In the end I was not surprised at who she had chosen. The performance by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York is as expected, excellent. Credit or sale worthy!

Gosh, I just can't get enough of this series!
Meghan March is such an amazing author! She really knows how to deliver a captivating story that keeps the listener in suspense while she weaves a plot full of action, steamy romance, and some surprising twists. Each story has a natural flow and transitions smoothly from one scene to the next, making them fun and easy to listen too. The characters have flaws, and their steamy dialogue and chemistry will have you smiling and blushing from the first to the last chapter. Just when you think you've already listened to her best, she goes and writes another five star hit! It's hard to choose a favorite; I love them all!
Beneath These Lies was an awesome love triangle, and I really enjoyed hearing all three POV's.
Andi Arndt and Sabastian York are two of the best narrators! When they narrate, you can feel the emotions and effort they put into the characters and dialogue. They make a great team and really bring the story to life.
Absolutely worth the time, and a credit!

Well I read this series out of synch and it didn't matter one bit. Each time I finished a book it became a firm favourite and this is no exception. Another bad boy alpha male, and I've got to say Meghan knows how to write a true alpha male, and Rix is up there with the very best of them (he also does a fantastic job of hiding his mushy centre), Then we have rich girl Valentino, closet artist, and owner of a thriving art gallery. I've got to say that these two made the perfect couple, Rix's rough to Valentino's smooth, fire and ice, opposites attract and all that. The story told in dual POV had me double guessing the hows, the whys, the ifs and the buts. I was hooked from the get go, so well written and I loved the insight into previous characters. What a fantastic series. I can't wait for more.

Rix/ Ricks is expressed incredibly well on the page. March has managed to successfully create an unapologetic hero; one that is alpha and knows it. The female protagonist is intelligent and determined, which wins over beauty and softness all the time (yet she still possesses these traits). The dynamics of this relationship works because the main characters are constantly challenging each other, and the male protagonist never relents from chasing the woman he loves. Extremely sexy.
3.5 stars! Entertaining, even though it was pretty predictable! My favourite thing about the book was how alpha Rix was!
Yet another amazing story from Meghan March. The Beneath Series of books are really spellbounding.
Can't wait to get book 6.
Listening to Andi Arndt and Sebastion York reading the books is also amazing. Thank you.
