The words never came and they never left my mouth, instead I just pressed my lips against his and kissed him more passionately than I have ever kissed in my entire life. All of the pain, jealousy, and attraction that I had to hide from myself came bubbling to the surface and I couldn't help myself from finally giving in. At first, he was shocked by my embrace, but he began to move his soft lips against mine. He wrapped his arms around my body and leaned back, pulling me on top of him as his hands roamed over my backside. His touch was electric and he left a trail of goosebumps everywhere his fingertips grazed. I felt as if I were in a dream again.

While this was another short and sweet, Billionaire Romance by Kathleen Hope, I both did and didn't like it as much as "Love After War" which I felt was over and complete when it ended. My inability to totally feel the love for "Beauty and the Billionaire" is mainly due to wanting more, so that's a good thing and a bad thing. Basically, the story is good enough that I wanted to see where it went, but instead, I felt that it was rushed and then just…..over. I wish it were long enough to really wrap everything up. I felt some connection between Eli and Autumn, but I wanted more. I really liked Eli's brother, but I wanted more of his story. I hated Eli's wanna-be ball and chain, Autumn's slimy boss and her crotchety grandmother, and my evil side wanted them to experience a bit of karma - for my amusement. So, yes, I liked it, but I saw a lost opportunity for me to LOVE it, and that leaves me a little disappointed. I really hope there is more to come from this particular cast of characters because I think they have the potential to have a lot of interesting adventures that I'd love to hear about.

Theresa Stephens is an excellent performer. I think she is exactly the right fit for this author. I love it when that happens. I received this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review.
