Perfect listen for a Modest Mom
I love a good spin on the classic fairy tail stories. This was just the right amount of "Adult". It was more about the story than the intimacy but intimacy was put in at the right times. I'm very excited to continue with the other versions of the classic fairy tales I grew up with.

Was a fun listen
This started out strong but it almost felt rushed towards the end. I would have loved a more intense battle to round off the story. Overall, it was a great listen and a beautiful take on one of my favorite stories.

A decent Beauty and the Beast retelling
As I make my way through a slew of fairytale retellings (mostly batb) I become more critical. This was a VERY good adult retelling. It isn't the BEST I've come across but it was good nonetheless. Vivienne Savage's spin on this tale and the type of "beast" the protagonist encounters is a unique and exciting approach to the story and I loved it!

Who's a beast?
I love this story of Beauty and the Beast. but who's the real beast? Is it a dragon who takes revenge for the death of his family or a spoiled greedy man who would rape a woman? A man who thinks his title gives him an entitlement to act without thought or mercy.
Good for Anastasia! She is brave enough to fight for herself. Brave enough to believe in what's right and just. May she and king Alastair live forever.
Great production! loved the accents of Vivianne Savage and Shoshana Frank.
