Desperate to escape an abusive relationship, a woman takes a temporary job as a live-in aide to a recently blinded war hero - but is the love they find more than they both bargained for?
War veteran Brent Harrington, a helicopter pilot who lost his sight when he was shot down in Afghanistan, is now back home in the US and struggling to come to terms with the fact that his sight may never return. Natalie Connors, a beautiful young woman fleeing an abusive relationship and looking for a fresh start, is hired by Brent’s best buddy, another war veteran, as a home health care aide to help Brent adapt to his newly darkened world. Thrown together by fate, they take the first tentative steps toward love....
But when Natalie’s vicious ex tracks her down, can the passion and tenderness she and Brent share protect her? At First Sight is a highly emotional story about two damaged people and the healing they must go through before they can commit and find their happily-ever-after.

Make the Winning Choice
I like Audio over print.
This is my first P.W. listen. She had a good outline and story to tell. However, this story is not my taste for heroines. I like strong women who know how to make a choice. If you like stories where the heroine is trying to find her path, then this is for you. Our hero is a man trying to re define his life and author portrays his story well. Too much indecision on the part of our heroine for me. Ms Wilton, get a better editor. A good editor could help you reach your full potential as you have a good imagination/story to tell.
I am not a fan of this reader. Her male voice is her only redeeming quality for me. Reader followed the author's read very well, she is just not my taste for lot of books to own.
Several, which is why this book could have used a bit better editing to be great. When Sam our hero dog helps in two fights. When our hero tries to go out to buy coffee on his own. Ms Wilton, you have what it takes.
I purchased as this was a story about a blind person trying to over come. The cost is good so give this book a try. I did enjoy the parts when the heroine is strong and direct.
