Ok, I'm Not Much Of A Sports Fan…..But Seriously Who Could Resist That Cover!
This was my first Kate Stewart and I thought she did a decent job. It was charming, cute, full of lot's of hilarious laugh out loud moments, and the chemistry between the H/h was sexy and hot! I'll definitely be watching for book two to be released in audio.
Rafe is one sexy, hot adorable minor league ball player who's on the verge of making it to the major leagues. He's well know and well liked in the community. Alice… well Alice is one of the most unique characters I've had the pleasure listening too. She's quirky, geeky, lived a sheltered life, but makes it her mission to live life to the fullest. Her "All In" personality helps get her out of her comfort zone to try new and exciting things, but unfortunately most of them backfire on her in the most comical ways. I was laughing, blushing and embarrassed for her. I got a kick out of how she had to Google everything from A to Z. She was a plethora of information. Rafe was fascinated with Alice right from the start, he loved she was the real deal and different. He fell hard, and wanted to protect her, even from herself. Their meeting and falling in love story was touching, sweet and as Rafe said "no end."
Lisa Zimmer is a new to me narrator, and she did a really good job. I listened to her narration at 1.25x the speed. She has a pleasant voice, and made it easy to distinguish between the different characters.
This was an AWESOME Kindle Unlimited/whispersync deal and who doesn't love a good deal! There are reference to 80 movies at the beginning of each chapter; however, in the Kindle version these 80 reference are cute pics of VHS tape. Anything But Minor is a worthy listen if you like your romances on the funny side with quirky characters, and some steamy chemistry!

How could you not like a book that quotes lines from Steel Magnolias? I love this quirky story with an even quirkier Alice "the menace." A humorous story of how nerdy Alice courts disaster at every turn and finds someone who appreciates all of her quirks. This is my third Kate Stewart book and I know that I want to try some of her other books -- love her style of writing, especially when Alice (and sometimes Rafe) make outrageous comments. Lisa Zimmerman did a really good job narrating. This is my first experience listening to her and I look forward to other narrations by her.
Note to the prudish, this book does have explicit sex scenes -- hot and sexy and even some funny ones.
