Publisher's Summary

Despite having lost half her soul, coven leader Jade Calhoun is determined to lead a regular life, and that means planning her wedding. With just five weeks until the big event, plans are halted when Jade falls victim to a ghost possession. Unfortunately, it appears the only way to keep the ghost at bay is to spend twenty-four hours a day with the last person Jade wants to share a house with - the angel who has the other half of her soul.
Things go from bad to worse when the ghost targets Jade's friends and her fiance, Kane. The ghost is using sex magic to steal Jade's power, and she'll stop at nothing to get what she wants. Even if it means forcing Jade into the arms of another man. In order to banish the ghost, fix her soul, and have a chance at her happy ending, Jade will need to find her father and uncover the decades-old secret her mother is determined to keep hidden.

Another Great Bourbon Street Book

Where does Angels of Bourbon Street rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have enjoyed all the Bourbon Street Books but in this one we get to learn more about Jade past and the past of her family. I really look forward to the next book I hope it will bring out more about the relationship with her coven. I was also excited to see in this book we learn more about her true feelings about her powers. If you haven't read the other books I recommend you do. Deanna Chase has given us another great story and I look forward to the next one.

What did you like best about this story?

The secrets being revealed.

Have you listened to any of Traci Odom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have always like Traci Odom and I listen to her in other books as well and she does a great job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes I won't spoil it for the other readers but it had to do with time she felt in danger by someone she thought she could trust. I don't know why but I wanted to cry for her. Also when she thought she loose her best friend.

Any additional comments?

I really do recommend you get all the Bourbon Street Stories. I have enjoyed all the books and I hope others will as well.

A Haunting

I love this series and was so anxious to get started on this book. This review is for both the ebook and the audio because I have both and read some then listened. The story moved at a fast pace. Until around the middle where it was a little repetitive in as Jade never got answers from her mother or anyone. She would ask and every time they would sort of stutter and refuse to answer. It was dragging out for about a chapter. I was so upset. I was thinking I would only give it two or three stars. And by the time we got answers, I had already guessed kind of and it wasn't as much of a shock. I also had an idea of the answer at the ending. But I didn't have a clue about what would be expected of Jade and Kane. I will say that it picked up and was so good at the end that it made up for it and was well worth the wait. I just hope the author doesn't ever do that again. Even if the book is shorter without the repetitiveness, it would be better. I can't wait to see what is in store for them in the next book. It's going to get really interesting as there is now something totally new in their life and it will be so busy and hectic. I know a lot of reviews said these books were too much alike. I would like to say to that, just hang on because the best is yet to come in this book. It's the beginning of something totally new. I'm still not crazy about Jade's mom. The narrator is one of my favorite narrators. She has the most pleasant voice that is just uplifting. You can feel her spirit shining through all the books she does.
