it just didn't stand a chance...

What would have made An Amish Garden better?

should have had a different Narrator, and the story lines were pretty weak. I've never heard the Amish dialect slaughtered so horribly. I had to grit my teeth to get through it.

Has An Amish Garden turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I love Amish stories, although usually less about fluff and romance and more about their lives. I've read and listened to many of them, but this one was beyond terrible.

Would you be willing to try another one of Rebecca Gallagher’s performances?

Her voice is not bad, although, men's voices were pretty bad. But, well, it was kind of like listening to a kindergarten teacher read her class to sleep for naptime.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

a lot of eye rolling.

Any additional comments?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease never let her narrate another Amish book. Ever.
