it was ok

I've liked other stories by this author, but this one was kind of meh. Worth the time to read it if you don't have to spend a credit on it. Not a lot of world building, which is a shame because there's plenty of potential for full length novel treatments to each of the installments. The narrator was difficult to enjoy until the last hour or so when she picked up the pace a bit. While there's a decent amount of explicit material, the author seemed uncomfortable with naming parts of the female anatomy, using words like "hole," over and over, and "boobies" a couple of times. Happy ending (no pun intended).

A little more than I want but a good story. I like some dominance but the story could've been a little more.

An interesting tale!

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks for this series.

The first book dealt with Maricka's abduction and her learning the new circumstances she is now in.

The second book shows headway in her relationship with the master she now has, and intrigue into those who want to remove her.

This third book, has another couple visit, and after a lot of angst, some resolutions to some issues.

I loved the narrator's grasp of the book, the voice characteristics added to the overall experience.

Love these slutfest

As far as slut brained females with Stockholm syndrome goes, this is one of the better ones. I actually enjoyed the story and found the characters interesting.

What did you like best about this story?

i enjoyed the short series and how the characters interacted. They fell for each other quickly , but the outcome would have been the same regardless, because they were put together for marriage and procreation purposes.

Loved every minute of it!

I found it refreshing how Martiza was able to accept her lot in life and tried to make the best of it when put in extraordinary circumstances. Definitely I must listen I especially loved how Rose DeMarco brought the characters to life!

Okay... whew!

I was not ready for this book. I like the background story and was in awe of the wisdom and intellect of the Mistress and Lord. I did not want the story to stop. I am invested! The return of the stolen wives, the friction of the counsel, the potential war, and rebellion of the enslaved. Great writing...perfect inflictions of the narrator.

Forgettable

Would you try another book from Yamila Abraham and/or Rose DeMarco?

No. For me this book had no really good story behind it. She get's kidnapped. Her alien hubby looks like a character from labyrinth and they basically fuck all the time and her Eunuch caregiver was abusive and an A**hole. I felt that the main character basically gave up on her own race with a drop of a hat so she could screw her smurf alien hubby...Maybe if her caregiver wasn't castrated and such a douche...there could've been a good possible romantic story between caregiver and kidnapped woman from Earth... She gave up to quickly and had this "I am better then everyone else "

Has Alien's Bride Box Set turned you off from other books in this genre?

No..just this author in particular. I am very sure she has other books that are better then this one

How could the performance have been better?

More of a storyline then just abuse and sex and kidnapping... the storyline reminded me of an 80's wannabe sci fi porn that my friends and I watched at a bachelor party and the sad part about it is that the 80's sci fi porn had more of a story line then this

Needs to be rewritten with more story line... more feeling... more personal fight for her own people... Slow down on the sex and the romance ...Too rushed
