A Hot Mess.

I was all set to listen to a triangle love story. Wonder who Stacy would end up with after a back an forth time. The beginning starts out with that feeling. Then they get to Houston and Stacy starts acting a bit slutty. Even going so far as getting a lap dance from a girl. One would think that would lead into an interesting moment of conflict with one of the 3 but nothing. Making that whole long scene unnecessary. Stacy spends more than half of the book with Jeremy & for the most part happy, flirty with Billy in a way that makes her seem like just a two timing tramp and then after Stacy jumps to the wrong conclusion about Jeremy….That's when she realizes she loves Billy. Not a well thought out story in my opinion.

What did you love best about Absolutely Unforgivable?

It's hard to answer a question like this without giving away spoilers so I guess I'll just say what I loved best is that it's nice to read a romance novel with a love triangle that doesn't lead to lies and cheating. I'm not someone who would ever do that myself so I like a character with some character.

What other book might you compare Absolutely Unforgivable to and why?

There are a few other rock and roll fantasy stories like Fall For Me, Effortless, but this one isn't really exactly like either of them just happens to also include a story with a sexy guy who is in a band.

Have you listened to any of T. L. Gray’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've never heard anything with TL Gray prior to this story but thought she did a good job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried like a baby towards the end of the book. I was really surprised at the turn the book took. Obviously like most romance readers I like my happy ending and thought for awhile there, I wasn't going to get it. I was however pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the twist the book took to take you to the very final ending.

Any additional comments?

It was a sweet story about love and the struggle to do the right thing. I liked it.
