Publisher's summary

Lady Aimee Wentworth is desperate and willing to do anything to recapture the stormy and passionate moment she and Reece Hamilton shared. For years, she has loved her brother's best friend, the untitled second son of a lord. But now that Reece has noticed her, she has a new hurdle to overcome - her dreaded status as a lady. Aimee refuses to accept Reece's decree for her to find a nobleman fitting her rank and is willing to do anything - including tricking her best friends, stowing away on Reece's ship, and facing his rage - to make him her very own. When Reece discovers Aimee on board, mayhem ensues, as he is now compelled to marry the arresting beauty who suddenly refuses to accept his proposal! Whisked into a thickening plot of mystery, Reece and Aimee learn that their love is like the sea-stormy, untamed, and destined to be theirs.

Great story. Including characters from Book 1

Loved this 2nd book in the 3 book series. I liked that MS included the main characters from Book 1, that had their own story line in Book 2.
For audio, 4 hours could have been cut out and still have a good story.

Excellent!!!

I began listening to this book before I realized that there was a book 1, however, I was so enthralled that I could not stop listening. (Note to anyone: it is not advised to listen into the wee hours of the morning when you have to work.) Anyhow Corrie did a good job on the narration and I loved how the story line flowed. Can't wait for book 3 to come so I can see how it all ends and how our villain gets caught! This series is well worth the credits!

Loved it!

Can't wait for the next one! There was a lot going on and some character development that I would love to see in the next book.

There's too much going on.

The Aimee and Reece story was interesting enough on it's own. The whole thing with Millie, while well written was ridiculous and seems like filler to stretch out the story.

Cliffhanger without a 3rd book!

The parts of the book about Aimee and Reece were great. And an add in about Millie and Chase still back in England worked, although what Millie went off to do was a little too much. Ok, a lot too much. But...

What is the most aggravating is that it appears the 3rd book about Janell was never written! And since the end with Chase, Millie and Janell was left unfinished, this was very disappointing. I’m sure she planned to write it, but for some reason did not. I really wish she would now, even if it’s done as a Novella just to finish out the storyline. It is very frustrating when an author intentionally leaves something hanging and then does not finish it.
