Publisher's summary

Three months have passed since Jason "Grizz" Talbot was put to death by lethal injection for crimes he committed. His former wife, Ginny, whom he had abducted from a convenience store when she was a teenager and became the love obsession of his life, has spent more than the last decade trying to carve out a life of normalcy in the bustling suburbs of Fort Lauderdale-including a thriving and happy marriage to Tommy "Grunt" Dillon, a former member of Grizz's gang.

Tired of the secrets and the lies, Ginny and Tommy thought the final piece of their past could be left behind forever with Grizz's execution. However, the past comes crashing around Ginny and Tommy when a newly discovered secret threatens to destroy their marriage.

When tragedy strikes, Ginny is forced to reach into her heart and decide, once and for all, what she really wants.

In this third book in the Nine Minutes trilogy, A Gift of Time takes listeners from the busy tropical metropolis of South Florida into the serenity of the North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains as Ginny chases down the answers she needs.

Will she have the strength to confront the secrets of her past...and her heart?

Contains mature themes.

The last book in this series was everything I needed it to be! This one hit EVERY emotion I had. I love how this book continued to be completely twisty. You never know who to trust, what is real and what will happen next. But the end of this book was perfect, It truly was a gift of time. Beth Flynn knows how to weave an amazing story and I can't wait for more from her in the future.

The narration was good, although I must say I would have loved to have had this done with a male narrator too because Grizz needs a deeper voice.

WOW.. I WAS COMPLETELY OBSESSED

It was way back in late 2015 that I first heard the story of a feisty independent neglected latchkey teen being abducted into a rough biker gang and that story quite simply blew me away. And it’s taken this long for the impressive Author to finally wrap the trilogy up.. and wow did she throw some seriously good curveballs along the way. A plot that spanned decades, told of two strong love stories, concealed then revealed so many secrets and twists, had soul-deep heartbreak and passion, showed impressive character growth, didn’t let up on drama, angst and emotional feels.. and it finally ended with such a sweet HEA.

Book one was told from Ginny’s POV and books two and three were told from a multitude of main characters POV’s to unveil the truth, unmask the villains and heroes and understand the intentions behind the various actions. I’ve never listened to a book before that had SO many riveting earth-shattering reveals that held the power to derail, reroute or stop the rollercoaster relationship entirely. I’m simply in awe of Beth Flynn’s writing abilities. I’m shocked by her incredible talents to weave an impressive amount of storyline strands altering the paths of so many characters. I’m happy she skilfully tied up every loose end so there’s no doubt, no hidden danger and no lingering thoughts of could it - should it - would it. There’s very little swearing, violence or sex.. yet it’s a compelling feast of feels for your nerves, your senses and your heart. Monique Makena did a great job at bringing the words, the multitude of characters and the truck load of feels to life.

Worth a credit? Oh boy oh boy YES. There’s absolutely no doubts in my mind that this trilogy was epic.. it started off dark but the light slowly shone through to reveal a real gem of a story.. a complex story that went back and forth through decades to slowly filter out the truth.

All Over the Place

I really didn't like this book or its characters at all.

This book just went all over the place and switched between years and characters which was very distracting. Then the book branches off into side stories that are really not relevant and just adds more fluff to a story already filled with guff.

I really didn't care for this book at all. Not one person in the book seemed to have any integrity. Every character is deceitful or hiding some critical information from those they are supposed to care about and then the story circles around and back over these lies over and over again. Ginny, Kit or which ever of the million names she goes by, is supposed to be so full of "Christian goodness" but she was just a downright hypocrite. Tommy was a manipulative little weasel. Grizz was just a plain old scumbag bikie. What's to like???

The narrator did a good job.

Loved A Gift of Time

One of the best series I’ve read/listened to in a long time. Take the time to read or listen to Nine Minutes, Out of Time and A Gift of Time. At times, the story can be rough but it’s also poignant.

Spoilers, book not for the non religious

This trilogy turned into a religious conversation book. I was able to finish it only by using a credit, because it was not available in the romance package like the first 2. If you are not religious don’t waste you credit. *spoiler* it all works out with forgiveness of “God”.

Love Love Love this Trilogy

I rarely read a book more than once, twice at most. This trilogy I have read 3-4 x’s so when I ran across audible edition I was so excited BUT this narrators voice for Grizz made me cringe so that is why I gave 4 stars for performance. Narrator is perfect for Kit/Ginny’s voice & I normally enjoy narrator as I have heard he read other books but def not Grizz material. Beth Flynn is one of those rare authors that can spin a tale while developing characters flawlessly. I don’t want to give anything away all I can say is a credit will not be wasted on Any of. With Flynn’s books!!!

Disappointed

I really enjoyed the first two books. They were fantastic and I was looking forward to this installment. The story seemed to drag and the increasing religious presence took the story off course and the increasing inner dialogue was tedious. Very disappointed.

Eternal Love

Absolutely a fantastic trilogy with so many tears, tension, drama, twists and turns, and eternal love. Worth a credit. The author made you love Tommy “Grunt” as much Grizz it was heartbreaking. No spoilers- a must read.

Second time through this trilogy!

This is the second time I’ve listened/read through this trilogy. I love it more each time. I wish more would come giving us more with Ginny’s twin sister and Mimi & Christian. But I do agree I’d like it if the storyline went back to the biker lifestyle more.
