Publisher's summary

I believe in soul mates. Why? Because I have one and her name is Lily Madison.

I've loved Lily my whole life; she's all I've ever known. I didn't realize how deeply she was ingrained into the fabric of my soul until I felt her absence.

Sometimes in life, once choices are made and paths are altered, it is often impossible to go back.

I know this because I stand here with a two-carat engagement ring in my hand, waiting to ask someone to be my wife. I'm ready to love and cherish her 'til death do us part. But, there's just one problem.

She isn't Lily.

Will the choices that have been made change our path forever or can fate find its way?

SUCH A JOURNEY OF LOVE AND SORROW!!

If you could sum up A Forever Kind of Love in three words, what would they be?

Emotional, Beautiful, Destined!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lily..she was put through so much, and persevered through with grace...I dont know how she did it!

What about Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly ’s performance did you like?

I am a HUGE Caitlin Kelly fan, and Chris Abell stole my heart...they were great!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of it...I did get angry with Jax several times.but I know how he felt..he was trying to do the honorable thing...and even if his mistake caused all of this to unwind the way it did...It was almost meant to be...I have read a lot of reviews saying Stella was wrong..and had bad intentions, but did she? Jax made the decision to be there for her, to make her last year of life memorable...he gave her that gift...and it is almost admirable...and Stella's letter at the end was lovely...

Any additional comments?

After reading book 1, I had to dive right into book 2...I shed many tears and had angry times, but this story was completely special and Jax and Lily will stick with me for a very long time...This story also shows how choices in life can destroy others, but true love will always find its way home! If you are a believer in destiny...you will love this book, but also keep in mind these are young people, and sometimes it takes a bit more experience to get things just right!

EXCELLENT SERIES AND GREAT NARRATION! I RECOMMEND!!

Great ending

I was holding out for that HEA and I'm so glad I did because it was great. Such a realistic and not dramatized love story. I just had to know how things ended up in the mess they were and this book answered those questions perfectly.

Caitlin is the better of the 2 narrators and Chris had a female voice that wasn't my favorite but that is being picky because they both did a great job.

A Forever Ending

I was a little nervous going into this second book. Lily and Jax's story was so twisted throughout book one, I wasn't sure what to expect. But this finale did a good job of showing that while not easy, thier love is forever. Sweet HEA portrayed well by narrators.

Any additional comments?

I want to first say that I HATE love triangles or whatever this is called.

We spend over half the book reading about Jax and another woman.. Why?

Then at the end he gets a Happily Every After with the "Right" Woman. Again, Why?

Um, Yeah.. No. Not my type of male lead and his reasons for his treatment of Lily made no sense.

This book had potential but it fell short with numerous inner and outer dialogue about

foolishness.

I did not like Jax and did not want to read or listen to his HEA.

Another good narration by Chris Abell.

A Round About Love Story

This love story was long and twisted. Jax begins the story saying how he was born to love Lily but was asking another woman to marry him. I am not so sure about Stella and how she got Jax to do what he did. But Jax was a grown man and still allowing his dad to beat him down so I guess Stella's tactics were bound to work. Lily was just a consistent person who knew what she wanted and finally got it. The story put me in mind of some of Nicholas Sparks books. This one just happened to have a happy ending. It was a good read and the narration was excellent although I got a little sleepy on parts of it. Overall I enjoyed the book. I did not read book 1 before listening to this one. If time permits I may go back and buy book 1. I got this book from audiobook boom.

A forever kind of love

I could not listen to this book the content warning on this book had none ( V,L,S) but within two to three minutes of the book it used the F work twice plus other profanities. It may have been a wonderful book, but I will not listen to a book with that language. Next time be truthful in your content warning. A Forever Kind of Love (NOT!!!!!!)

A Forever Kind of Love: Choices Series Book 2
: Ellie Wade

The title of this book is a total lie. Jax had no clue of forever and I doubt he knew anything of love. He was a spineless, hypocritical, and womanizing (even if it was one woman , namely Lily) character that I despised. Lily let herself be a doormat and kept coming back for more.

Second chances or was it third or fourth chances were WAY TOO MANY!

If the author was trying to pull feelings from the listener she accomplished it but they were probably not the ones you might expect.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly.

After the first book I had to keep going

A Forever Kind Of Love was even better than the first book. Lots of laughter and tears while listening to this book. And it really brings home "with every choice in life there is a consequence, good or bad". This is a must read or lessen.

Sometimes you just need a good cry!!

Any additional comments?

**This is NOT a stand alone novel**

My heart broke all over again. I listened this series back to back and If book 1 couldn't get worst, the 2nd book, this book is heartbreaking.

The main narrator in this story is Chris Abell and he played an awesome Jax, and he made me feel all of Jax's demons and struggles. Caitlin came back as Lily, and if you haven't heard Caitlin's narration, you should listen to her stuff, because she did not disappoint in a forever kind of love.

The story. Ohhh em gee. Yup I sounded it out. I was heartbroken right from the beginning, and it kept breaking and breaking, and I kept sobbing and sobbing. I think at one point I told Ellie Wade that she wasn't playing fair. Unbelievable. This book, this series is like a Hallmark story. I love young love, but Jax just killed me. He is so compassionate and thoughtful, and I wanted to kick him in his rear, but under the circumstances he was dealt with ......... would you or could you blame him??

Some people didn't like this story because they hated Jax, but I disagree. I loved Jax. Even though he's so bi-polarish, the stress of being a star quarterback, business major and the yapping of daddy in his ear, he was doomed right from the beginning. In book 2, this book he wasn't much better. He loved Lilly, but making a commitment to Stella knowing he loved Lilly was the beginning of his problems. He loved her, and even though Stella and Jax knew his heart belonged to Lily, he took his commitment and vows serious. Death do us part. Except Jax can't get passed that, and LIly becomes a doormat again.

The only thing I would have to say is, at what point do you walk away? When does your own happiness supersedes others? This book is all about choices and second and third chances. I'm mad Jax and Lily are leaving my life, but I won't forget the feels that Ellie Wade gave me.
