good story line

I really don't like the voice of the person who narrated. The men sounded constipated. And she reads too fast

I couldn't out it down, I laughed so hard I cried a few times and I loved the characters

This book had me in tears I laughed so hard. It was light and fluffy and oh so enjoyable. This book is a definite relisten perfect for lifting your mood

Now I loved me some Ryan. Total Book Boyfriend worthy. Swooonn!!!! This story was so awesome and it made me laugh and get frustrated and all. The storyline was just so addicting.

Highly recommend this book, and series. Grace Grant's voice is perfection!

The Sheriff and the Madam

While # 1 Player was mostly entertaining and humorous, I didn't care for Lila's parents. Her retired sheriff father threatened to shoot any man who might get his baby girl pregnant while Lila's madam mother sold other people's daughters to sexual predators.

Really, what kind of mother could love her own child yet casually pimp out members of her own gender to any pervert with a few dollars. (Yes, adult women have the right to sell their bodies but being a prostitute is depressing, degrading and dangerous work.)

Every time Lila said how proud she was of her mother's successful business (complete with fetish rooms for sexual torture), I cringed. If being a hooker was such a wonderful profession, then why wasn't Lila in the family business? Just too weird and so not romantic.

love it!!

I love this author they made it so funny I loved it I laughed and had a stupid funny goofy face the whole time as I was listening to it. I love Ryan's character laid-back goes with the flow confidence. and poor Layla always a mixed emotions but that's all women pretty much. overall it was really good I'm so glad they made this book I was wondering about these characters. this is a stand-alone book you don't need to read the first one but it's pretty good too I'm sad it's ended but I can sleep tonight with a smile on my face

Cute Story

I enjoyed this story, but all of the male characters sounded drunk or half asleep. It was super distracting.
