Keeps you interested but predictable

Book was good but predictable til the end. The end was not what I thought as i listened. Good enough for me to want to listen to the next in the series.

Really liked this story. The Narrator has the greatest voice! Can't wait for Sofia's story.

Love this book. Great characters, good plot. I felt the love between the main characters. I can't wait for the next stories.

This book was a suggested listen. I've never read/listened to this author and I've been missing out!!!!

Cynthia Eden wrote a very suspenseful story about Chance Valentine and the woman he shouldn't love but can't resist. Gwen Hawthorne's dad employed Chance as the head of his security team and while protecting her Chance and Gwen developed a bond that can't be broken.....though they both tried.

Now Gwen is in trouble and there's only one man she trusts to keep her safe.

This story kept me guessing and the narration by Lance Greenfield added the extra edginess to make it my favorite listen so far this year!!!!

Chance is HOT!

Watch me is beautiful suspense filled romance! Chance was one of Gwynn's bodyguards hired by her father to keep her safe. She fell in love with him but he turned her away because she was untouchable, even though he wanted her too. After that, he is determined to stay away from her but she consumes his dreams every night. Months later, Gwynn is being stalked because of a man she had a relationship with to try and forget about Chance. Gwynn's father hires Chance again but he's not in it for the money this time. He wants to keep her safe because of his need for her and this time he's not going to turn her away. Gwynn's stalker is determined to get rid of her and it's a dangerous road they have to get through with twists at every turn. I loved all the characters in the book! The love and passion shared between Chance and Gwynn will consume you! Chance will do anything and everything possible to keep her safe!

quick and action packed.

I liked this book. It wasn't long and drawn out with unnecessary angst. The action was quick and the lovers were hot. I wished we got more of that sexual buildup and tension but if I had to sacrifice that for a story that didn't drag then so be it. I didn't get that instalove feeling from these two because there was a past with Gwen and Chance. Overall I enjoyed the story a lot.

ok the narrator Lance Greenfield has an amazingly sexy voice. I would have given him a 3 but his voice didn't change much between his women and men so sometimes I had to relisten to a few conversations twice so I could follow who was who. I think with time he'll get better. He can totally make it into my top favs if he improves.

I was lost within the words of this book

very well written and loved the narration.
The was so much feeling in this book between the H & h that it could have been really cheesy but through some really good writing and interpretive narration it never got that vibe. I am looking forward to hearing the next one when it is released

Awesome

I read this book years ago. But I love Cynthia Eden and wanted to give the narration a chance. I was not disappointed. Lance has an amazing voice and he can read to me anytime.

This detective/ body guard story was good! It has romance, tough guys protecting the beautiful woman and mysterious crimes.

Watch someone else - please!

Sorry I used a credit for this. I do read reviews and obviously, some people liked it. Not me. Didn't care for the slow voice trying for sexy. The story was worse. I don't want to use another moment of my time even thinking about this book. Sorry.
