Allure of dark love

Oh boy this book from the very beginning started with a bang, and continued throughout. I couldn’t even sleep I had to finish listening to find out how their story ended.

Warning....Not for the faint of heart

Great narration, good story. However, this is a love story draped in dom/sub, abuse and rape. The abuse gradually increases through the book but you become invested in seeing the heroine escape or gain a HEA. Worth a listen... if you can take it.

Good book but a little dark for my taste. This book has the romance. It has the bad guys and the hero.

This book is very detailed so it's not for the lite hearted person. I feel you must be into dark stories to enjoy the book.

she does a great job of bringing the story to life......it flows really good

it gets ya at some parts but I didn't cry..... I did laugh...

HOW DID NARRATOR PASS INTERVIEW.

This narrator had such a bad lisp, it literally hurt my ears every time she spoke any word with the letter S. It sounded like a loud whistle and beyond painful to my ears.

Fix the lisp or look for another profession.

ABDUCTION, RAPE, BEATINGS = SEX SLAVE

Not a romance. Not for the faint of heart.
A group of sex traffickers abduct Rose. There hasn't been a 'fresh' abductee in awhile and they wanted to have some fun. Back at the facility Kirk, who is in charge of information and security, catches the scum with her. Kirk takes Rose/Silver from the scum and makes her his own slave.

There are some brutal scenes that made me cringe and nauseous. There's mystery, suspense, OMG's and where is Kirk?

Sierra Kline gives a capturing performance.

Absolutely worth a credit if you like this type of book.

I loved it!

I couldnt stop listening! The story was fantastic and the narrator portrayed every character well and with the perfect amount of emotion. I'll definitely listen to this again and again.

Great book

I absolutely loved this book! I was captivated from the very beginning. The book touches on a delicate subject of sex slaves but the story was told in a respectful way.
The narrator was fantastic.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes a little bit of dark in a romantic story.

Darker than usual “dark” story

The subject matter was difficult to get through but the storytelling (via the author AND narrator) was so good, I had to know how the story ends. I prefer darker stories (mafia, beauty and the beast-esque, broken people, etc) but not THIS dark. The reviews gave me a little insight so at least I was warned. But there were enough reviews that had substantial reasons for the positive reviews that I gave Irrevocable a chance. And I’m so glad I did!

Mother Trucking Snakes

Would you try another book from Skye Callahan and/or Sierra Kline?

I don’t think I’d be able to handle another book like this, it wasn’t really my style but I would probably give it a shot if it explained how she ended up there and if the entire trafficking ring gets brought down, for that I’d check it out.

Any additional comments?

I’ll be honest, it was hard for me to get past the sexual brutality and human trafficking, which is essentially the bulk of this novel. I want to know who drugged Silver/Rose and possibly her friend, who set her up?

My mind leapt to her boyfriend, the guy she wouldn’t let move in with her.There were a lot of plot twists, and I can understand Silver fighting and rebelling, I don’t think I’d be able to survive that environment.

I thought that the snake dreams/tattoos were a smart idea, especially when Silver realizes that the snake is her protector.
