Dark, emotional, and loving

This story was definitely dark and disturbing. Right up my alley. The narrator did a fabulous job of the male character however, performing the female and the accent, not so successful. It put me off quite a bit in the beginning. I almost quit listening 20 minutes in but as I got more captured by the story I was hooked. It was an easy listen. It was nice to see the strength in the female character. The author did a good job of explaining and sharing the backgrounds and the reason why the characters are who they are and do what they do. It was emotional, intense, and deep down, loving. The ending was beautiful. The epilogue was the best part and put a smile on my lips. In the end, I was a happy listener.

This story was full of twist and turns. It starts out with a bang and just kept me avidly listening straight thru. Lost sleep!! just couldnt turn it off.
Brax is all the alpha male anyone could want and Jessica was his perfect match. Unexpectedly well written, definitely an arthor I wlli keep an eye out for new work. By the end of the book, I was feeling warm and fuzzy. Just a great love story, think pretty woman with a dark side. Just can't say enough good things about this book. narration was spot on. Could feel the passion bleeding thru to give the extra punch. Most definitely credit worthy. I would have paid full price.

Loves the storyline. The fake British accent was a bit off putting but if you can overlook that then you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t believe I have waited so long to listen to this book. It was amazing! I fell in love with the characters and I hurt when they hurt. So much pain and suffering for both in the past and in the present. Both tried to hide their past from each other and while there are some heartbreaking moments they share there are also some sweet ones. There are of course twists and turns that will keep you guessing. I rated the narration 5 stars because to me Steven Barnett was Brax but I have to be honest, this book needs a female narrator added. It’s told in dual POV and while the narrator did a fantastic job in the male
POV I struggled a little with the female POV.

Absolute FAVE

This books is one of my absolute favorites. The narrator nailed the voice for Braxton pretty damn well. Very pleased and now sad that it's over.

I loved the narration.. dude does fabalous with both voices.. loved how he. made me feel the writing.. this is my favorite k Webster book and I will relisten to this audio many times to come.

Wow!!!Just Wow!

This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. I was happy to take this adventure with these characters. It was a bit dark at times but worth every penny. I've become a big fan of this author. K. Webster always delivers a full plot and fully developed characters.

Highly recommend if you like dark books. The narration really brought it to life and I really enjoyed the characters.
