Publisher's summary

Olivia Townsend is in trouble and out of options. Pursued by a dangerous man in search of a lost treasure she doesn't possess, she's got only two things in her favor: her late husband's diary - which she was never meant to see - and the man who was her first and only love. Losing him broke her heart, though she's been careful to hide it for the last 10 years. But when he comes to her aid and vows to stand by her, no matter what, she can't help but hope that things will be different for them this time.

James Weston has blamed himself for letting Olivia down when she needed him years ago, and now he'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe and to win her trust again. He's confident that he can outwit the villain chasing Olivia. But being so near her again threatens to expose every secret in his heart, even those that he swore would stay hidden forever. Contains mature themes.

Good Series

This has been a good series to listen to and I love the narrator’s giggles.

Darned delightful!

This series is just too much fun and this review is like when they give the best picture Oscar to the last movie in the trilogy. Separately, the books are good - together they are a treat.

Disappointed

The story and main characters were not believable or even interesting. The reader is annoying. I have stopped listening to audio books read by Bev. Crick because of her voice & tone. She does not do romance genre well. The plot of this story was also lacking. The 1st two books in this series were good. Maybe I should have read it in book form?

Not the best, but still good

To start...this book was too long and the last 3 chapters just got silly...very silly. Inspite of that, the premise of the story was good. The lead characters, Olivia and Jamie are interesting and likeable. The first few chapters of the book are all about them trying to find out what Olivia's dead husband had that the protagonist wants. That part of the story was well-done and intriguing. Then....once all the other sibling characters are mixed in, the plot begins to dissipate. Regardless, I did enjoy this book....probably won't include it in my favorites though.
