Publisher's summary

My future was about to be completely thrown off track because Della Sloane was under my skin, and I had to have her. I couldn’t ignore it anymore . . . I’d gotten close enough to her to see deeper.

Della Sloane is not your average girl. Yearning to break free of her dark and sheltered past and the memories of the illness that claimed her mother, Della plans a solo road trip to experience real life on her own terms. But the trip is nearly cut short in the little beach town of Rosemary when she realizes she can’t even pump her own gas—until Woods Kerrington shows up, more than willing to help out a pretty girl in need.

Woods’s family wants him to settle down with a wealthy woman in pearls, but he can’t resist this carefree girl in cutoffs passing through town. A one-night stand should have been enough, but months later, Woods can’t get the irresistible Della out of his head.

When a twist of fate brings Della back to Woods, all signs point to trouble if they don’t keep their distance. Neither is truly free, and a relationship could destroy both of them. With their hearts on the line, Della thinks the safest bet is to walk away. But Woods isn’t about to let that happen...

Abbi Glines writes the most addicting books!!

Abbi writes books that are absolutely addicting. Once you’ve read an Abbi Glines book you’ll be hooked for life. This is not a light and easy romance. It deals with dark issues and struggles. It's heartbreaking and heartwarming. Tragic and hopeful. Weakness and Strength. Passion. Fear. Anxiety. Lust. Love. Woods and Della. Della is so broken. She’s a shattered girl trying to find herself in a world that she has no idea how to live in. After a torturous childhood Della is given the opportunity by her best friend to go out into the world and “find herself.” She needs to learn to be independent and to find some sort of freedom from a childhood that haunts her every moment. Della just wants to experience all the ups and downs that go with a normal life. Woods is working hard to take over the family business. He wants the vice president job but his father will only allow this if he agrees to an arranged marriage. He unhappily agrees until Della and Woods lay eyes on each other it’s LUST at first sight. The chemistry is addictive! This book was seriously hot. And sweet. And passionate. And full of love, and self discovery, and self acceptance. In other words, it was simply amazing. Once again, I am blown away at how much I love the worlds Abbi creates. The people she dreams up, and the emotions they bring me.

Spin-off from Fallen Too Far - I loved it

I loved Woods from Fallen Too Far and I'm so glad he got his own book. It was fun to get an inside look into what makes him tick. This was such an enjoyable and at times a heartbreaking listen. I love the characters that Abbi Glines creates. I can get lost in her books for hours. Hopefully Audible will get all the books from the Fallen series soon.

Not my favorite from Abbi Glines

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was an okay story. I was excited to hear Woods' story, but was disappointed with the story. I really enjoyed the first 2 books in the series, but wasn't blown away with this one, so much so, I won't be buying the next book in this series

What was most disappointing about Abbi Glines’s story?

I felt it was a weak story line. Woods is a strong character, but the story was okay, not my favorite

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First time listening to Elizabeth, she did an okay job...
Have listened to many books with Sebastian and am yet to find one that he doesn't excel in. He has an amazing voice

This book is OUTSTANDING,,So Wonderful

Would you listen to Twisted Perfection again? Why?

Yes,. I am again and again, so that I made sure I didn't missed not one word..It's that good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Woods is the one to be in AWE of in this book. He's got some great protective friends also.

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First time for Elizabeth, she did a good job, But Sebastiain York can read these books. He is an outstanding reader and you can follow him and see exactly what he is talking about as he explains, He puts so much into his reading that you think your standing right beside him. He is most excellent. In this book, he know what he wants, and make no mistake in telling anyone.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, there were many, I always loved how he could always find her and make her see things clearly.

Any additional comments?

This is a perfect love story, It has it all, and yes, it ends making you want more, no so much of a cliffhanger but a continuation. Late September there is another one coming out. And I pray they use the same readers. I cannot wait. These two met and at once have a connection that unforgettable, at least by him., Even with other's in their lives they still want each other. But try so hard to give others want they want instead of following their own hearts, Once reunited, they pick up right where they left off. There is some HOT love scenes in this one as well. Very well written. Woods struggles with what his family wants, and gives in towards it, but the sight of her makes him weak and he knows what he must do when another man only looks at her. Only she will make him whole, I love the way the book sways from one scene to another showing you how they follow each other to be either friends or lovers. Any thing so that they can be beside each other. It's intense at times, but hang with it, It's explained. This book is great, you will not want to put this down. So get every thing ready to devote your time to this one,, and sit back and listen. Enjoy this one, I'ts perfect. . I loved it all. . My first Abbi Glines book, but I plan to see what she has written in the past.

hate when story not finished

I think I've written this review multiple times this week. I don't mind cliffhangers if each book has a standalone story and by stand-alone I mean a protagonist has a conflict and that conflict is resolved by the end of the book. More and more I'm hearing and reading books that are not completed stories. Complete the first story then you can set up a cliffhanger for the second story or book. This is becoming one of my major pet peeves when I see novels series.

COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Twisted Perfection the most enjoyable?

I really enjoy that both a female and a male narrate this book! This makes it amazing to have both perspectives.

What about Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?

They were both very believable as characters.

Any additional comments?

Couldn't stop listening from start to finish!

Sebastian York as Woods? YES PLEASE!

Yet another winner in the sweet romance niche that Abbi Glines has perfected. I loved Woods when he was introduced in the 'Fallen' series, so I was eager to hear his story. I wasn't disappointed in the least. In all honesty, I was super excited that Sebastian York was the narrator---his voice added another layer of yum to Woods' appeal. Della was a sweet character and despite her really tragic childhood, she and Woods find a special love. Probably the main gripe I have is the female narrator, she should probably retire from voiceover work.

Looking forward to hearing what happens next for Della and Woods!
