What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The abridged version of this sweet love story robs the reader of the experience of feeling the romance grow and the tension build as the young couple works our their issues.
What other book might you compare Sweet Memories to and why?
Maybe a novel by Sandra Brown or Delinsky.
What does Constance Towers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator was expressive and did a good job.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sweet Memories?
None. That was the problem. The book was abridged and the parts that were cut were needed to make the story more believable.

butchery of a favorite
I thought I would try this abridged copy of a favorite book Ive read many times. So much was cut out that the story's sweetness is lost. so sad. I wish their is an option to purchase this without cutting out the details that make this story beautiful. This will be my only abridged purchase. I've learned from this bittersweet memory.
