Short but sweet

I love novellas like this. This story brings Rachel and Josh together at Josh's sister's wedding in Tuscany. There is a lingering attraction which we learn is from their teenage years. This sweet romance ignites and becomes hot. When tragedy hits them, we get to see if their years long love is able to survive as well as if Josh's sister, Sam will be alright with her best friend and billionaire brother are together. Give it a read, it will make you smile.

Narration by Shoshana Franck is always a welcome listen. Her voice is warm and sexy. You are able to tell which character is speaking, which to me is key for audio and her male vs female voices are spot on.

Sweet story

This was a sweet story about being in love with your best friends brother. That it was well written and narrated perfectly.

Really loved becoming a part of Josh and Rachel's story.

Second Chances

This was sweet, well-written and well-performed. I was impressed that it moved along with good pacing, in spite of it being a short story. I usually feel like books of this length would be better if they were longer, but this worked. I'm looking forward to the next adventure from this author.

Shoshana Franck does a great job, as usual. Her tone, inflection and voices are just right. She performs all the characters well and believably and had a lot to do with why I really enjoyed this audiobook. I received this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review.

Review: Best friend's brother

Not much of a storyline. Narrator was decent.

Nice surprise.

I wasn't expecting very much out of an audio only 1 and a half hours long, but I was happily surprised. The writing was good. The story moved along at a good pace and didn't seem rushed which is difficult to do with just a little over 90 mins. The characters and story were well developed. The narration was pretty good, but sometimes her voice was a bit monotone. All in all I would recommend this as a quick listen.

I enjoyed the book up till the ending. I feel like author got tired of writing and abruptly ended as quick as possible.

I like Forbidden Love Stories and this one did not disappoint.

I also liked the friendship between Rachel and Sam.

Rachel has had a secret crush on Sam's brother since she was a teenager but has managed to stay away from him out of respect for her friendship with Sam.

During Sam's gorgeous marriage in Italy, sparks fly and Rachel finds it harder to stay away from the object of her affection.

I liked the characters and none of them annoyed me.

I wish the story was a little longer and little less predictable.

Overall, this book was a cute and quirky Decent Read filled with Romance.

Cute Story but...

The book was written pretty good and is easy to follow. When I see a book about a Billionaire I've come to expect erotica. This nook does have some good sex scenes but they are cut short. The author could have made this a full novel and hotter, she would have had a very good book! I liked the story and the characters but they could have been expanded on.

The narrator has done a good job reading. Her voice is clear, easy to understand and pleasant to listen to.
