Publisher's summary

Spunky artist manager, Jessica Stanton, isn't looking for love. She's looking for a savior. When a business rival steals yet another of her rising stars, she's in danger of losing everything she's worked so hard for... and the only person who can save her fledgling business is the one man she shouldn't want.

Art authenticator, Eli Marks, doesn't have time for love. He's too busy saving his brother from the demons of his drug addicted past. For the past ten years he's cultivated a façade to keep his distance from everyone else. But when a string of high-profile art forgeries threatens the security of the only family he has left, he must turn for help to a woman who breaks through his carefully constructed façade every time she's near.

Will Jessica and Eli save each other? Or will secrets and lies stop them from finding true love?

Wonderful IR story bwwm. Very cute.

Nana Malone did a wonderful job with this story and connecting it with other books/ characters from her stories. This story does a great job by standing alone. I really enjoy listening to Ms. Malone's stories & Traci Odom does a great job with the voice acting. Worth a credit & the price.

Funny and Quirky

I was amused by the way the storyline held intrigue and suspence, it was funny and kept you rooting for Jessica, I loved it.

I found this book very uneventful

Any additional comments?

Honestly I found this book hard to finish. Yes it had some interesting parts, but overall I was quiet bored. I found the story did't have enough depth to keep me interested.

Its cool

I am a huge Nana fan but this book was alright. It was decent but too much going on for such a simple storyline. Too many moving parts and unnecessary incomplete side stories.

not bad

I would have loved a little more plot filler; there's gaps in the narrative as it jumps from scene to scene. Sex scenes are graphic , steamy and romantic. Narrator did her best.

Ok

I thought from the comments that this book was about BWWM and it wasn't. So, I stopped listening.

Beautifully Artistic

Jessica Stanton, is a new art manager. The competition keeps pinching all her headliner artists for her opening. When Jessica finds a young artist she wants to take a chance on, she's instantly attracted to him, but refuses to mix business with pleasure.

Eli Marks has 2 jobs. Art authenticator and saving his brother from the demons of his drug addicted past. A string of high-profile art forgeries come to light, and threaten the only family Eli has left. Fiercely independent and not want to rely on anyone, Eli is forced to ask Jessica for help. Problem is, Jessica doesn't know Eli, not really.

I enjoyed this book narrated by Traci Odom. I didn't find it funny, but I did enjoy Traci's narration of the mystery and intrigue between the characters.

Boring, immature characters

Sadly, this is one I didn’t finish. I got half way through before I gave up. I was bored and the story lacked anything interesting. The secondary plot was immediately predictable and so left you wanting more. This was indeed a MisMatch.
