Publisher's summary

Forget the dangers of the jungle. In peril is Ruth's heart when two hunky shifters become determined to claim her despite her humanity.

Trekking through the jungle isn't Ruth's idea of a good time, even if her companions are hotter than hell. With her sister missing, though, she'll do anything to find her - slog through swamps, squish giant centipedes, and fight her attraction to not one but two males intent on seduction. But when she discovers there's more to the hunks accompanying her than meets the eye, will she accept their alter wolf egos or completely freak?

Fate sure has a wicked sense of humor, trying to make Kendrick think the chubby human he meets in the jungle is his mate. Joke's on him, though, because despite his preferences and attempts to stay away, he can't help but fall for the tall and curvy Ruth. Harder to swallow, his buddy is falling for her, too.

Joel knows firsthand how fickle human emotions are, but when he meets Ruth, all his best intentions get swallowed by the jungle as she worms her way into his heart - and makes him want to trust. When Ruth's human morals get in the way of two wolves and their need to claim what's theirs, they'll have to team up and show her two are so much more pleasurable than one.

Warning: Can you handle a pair of hot wolves determined to claim an unsuspecting human? Expect extreme heat and a whole lot of fun in this threesome jungle adventure (MFM).

A hot jungle romp in more ways than one.

This romance was much better than the previous one. It has a totally different scene, trekking thru the jungle instead of the others in Ottawa. Maybe the characters were better or just the scenario was better. I liked the spunk of the female. It still lacks a little from a ménage standpoint but the sex was pretty hot. The narration of this series by Ms Hooper is very good with different voices especially the male.

Best oops ever!!

when to pick a different book but accidentally hit this one. Best books I've ever made. Totally enjoyed listening to this book. Can't wait to get the other two in the series. The book pretty much always kept me guessing and the characters didn't do what I expected. Love books like that. Also had quite a bit of humor in it also. I do help she writes other books including the men that were in the Expedition. I really grew to like all of them it would like to hear their stories.

A struggle to finish

I have been listening to this series from the very first book. I was all in until this book. They say every writer goes through a writers block or dry spell... I feel that’s what happened in this book. There is 4 hours of the exact same thing over and over again. I am still trying to finish this book but it’s extremely hard. I’ve never pulled up the rating before the book ended, but there’s a first time for everything. I feel Eve Langlais is an amazing writer, but this had to have been the book that she was pressured to write, because out of 4 consecutive series, I’m struggling to get through this one. Hopefully the next book is not as monotonous as this one. I won’t give up on her though because out of about 15/16 books, this is the only one that didn’t intrigue me.

Very good storyline

I enjoyed the story very much, although several parts droned on, duplicating the thoughts over & over but in different ways. The narrator was great, as usual. I Wish, wish, wish there was more humor like in 'Delicate Freekin Flower' (which is GREAT!!!!) This book has some humor but not NEARLY the LOL that book 1 had.

😁

Loved the story! it was funny and SEXY and sweet! The narrator wasn't my fave. There wasnt a big range of accents to differentiate characters, but she told the story well.

Good narration but last few chapters sounded drunk

I enjoyed the story in the beginning. After a while it got repetitively monotonous. They pursue, she runs. Then she goes thru inner dialogue saying how confused she is and wondering if they are interested or not in spite of their repeated propositions, a combined back and foot rub which turned into a necking/petting session, both of them kissing her, and them following her around everywhere like a couple of puppy dogs. (yes, pun intended) But STILL she's whining "Why won't they just make a move?" Makes you want to reach to slap her and say, "What the hell do you think they've been doing all this time????"

Follow that up with a narration that starts out entertaining but the last 4 chapters Tillie Hooper sounds like she's sloppy drunk while reading. Running words together, slurring, and an uncontrolled pitch that see saws up and down, back and forth. Her enunciation of some of the words at this point make them sound like something other what they are. Like the word 'Piston' sounds like 'P**sed On'. Had to listen to that one a few times to get what she was saying considering the context in which the word was used it was a little disturbing.

Good Book

It was a good book, but, unlike the previous ones, it had many pauses that made me believe that the point of view had changed. Maybe an editing problem?
But other than that its my third time reading the story. Well read two times, listened the third.
