Publisher's summary

Olivia thought meeting her favorite author would be a fairy tale come true.

Declan Hart was supposed to be what dreams were made of - insanely handsome, wealthy, and a man who could make her melt with the stroke of a keyboard.

But Declan isn't the man Olivia thought he was. While most authors would kill to have his success, the envy ends there.

Declan Hart is broken. Scarred. A ghost of the man he once was.

Olivia Evans is the last person he wants to let in, but time is ticking, and Declan only has so long before he runs out of it.

One book could change his fortune, but this woman could change his life

A Delightful Erotic Take on Beauty and the Beast

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Blast. The story was very creative in this adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. The narrator was very sexy when performing the male POV. My only recommendation is that if you have a female POV (like in this book) that you have a female performer. I have a hard time believing the character being performed by the opposite sex. Otherwise, great job by the author and narrator. I look forward to the release of the other two in the series.

Good Twist To "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" Romance

Any additional comments?

This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
First, let me say Gary Furlong did an excellent job of narration.
This isn't the first retake on the classic Beauty and the Beast, but it's a very good one. Kept me listening straight through.

Ok, I'm sold.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have already recommended this audio to a friend. Not only was the narration great, the Beauty and the Beast adaption was a very entertaining and steamy listen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Filthy Beast?

Definitely when Olivia finally was able to fess up about the job she's been doing and how involved she has been.

Which character – as performed by Gary Furlong – was your favorite?

Definitely Declan. His accent is spot on and his voice is sex on a stick.

Any additional comments?

A happy ending from a great book, loved every minute.

Pretty Freaking Hot!!!

What did you love best about Filthy Beast?

The title definitely fits the content of this book. Declan and his writing was filthy to the core in the best way.

What did you like best about this story?

It was a wonderfully hot adaptation of a classic. I was imagining parts of the classic while reading this modernized version and I was not disappointed.

Have you listened to any of Gary Furlong’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is a first for me by Gary Furlong, but he is definitely someone I will be looking out for in the future. It seems he has a bit of an accent that I like at lot.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The reaction I was having to this book should not be put into words. Let's just say that my husband was very happy with the outcome.

A Tortured Hero..

Any additional comments?

Declan, the male lead, is a writer with a troubled past, when the book starts, he is having a difficult

time writing his newest novel and his publishing company decides to send someone to get him to help him.

He is selfish and is unapologetic about it. One night his life takes a turn for the worse.

This is when, Olivia, the female lead, enters the story. She is nice but strong willed and Declan is a bit bossy, they make an interesting couple and an overall entertaining read.

Gary Furlong did well with the narration.

Beauty and the Beast!

What made the experience of listening to Filthy Beast the most enjoyable?

I will never get tired of a "Beauty and the Beast" story. This is the first time I've listened to narrator, Gary Furlong and he was excellent! He did a great job with female character as well. This is also the first time I've read or listened to a book by this author. I really loved the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Declan because he had much to overcome.

Very good, but very short too

I can't help but feel a bit rushed by a book of this length just because of what I'm used to. Regardless, I loved the narration even though the narrator forgot his accent here and there; he did a brilliant Irish? accent when he did use it, it was hot! This book is oddly lighthearted yet touching in a way and I enjoyed listening to it. For me there wasn't anything extra special or unique that stood out but it was a good quick listen!

Your erotic twist to a Classic fairytale!!!

Would you listen to Filthy Beast again? Why?

Yes I would! I didn't know what to expect, but once Gary started reading, he put voices/emotions into those characters and brought them to life! I guess I wasn't expect Declan to have an accent but I love it! Whenever I read it's just my boring voice! I try and put emotionally sometimes it just doesn't work haha

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course my favorite characters are Olivia and Declan! They are the main characters! They don't know how bad they needed each other until the opportunity came to hand. Oh and this book also has the sexy Stonehaven men in it a little.

Which scene was your favorite?

I would have to say the best scene is when he thought Olivia was drowning and he went to go save her. It showed that he isn't the Beast that everyone portrays him to be. Deep down he is the same Declan that he was before the accident.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It would probably be when he first smiled in the longest time. And that smile was with Olivia. When someone makes you that happy it's just meant to be.

Any additional comments?

Vanessa is always brilliant with her books, but to do a book based off a classic fairytale and a twist is just....AMAZING!!!!
