Publisher's summary

Work always comes first for Sheikh Nassir Adjalane. From an early age, he learned business was infinitely more important than having a personal life. But with pressure from an opponent on his board, Nassir suddenly has only one month to marry, or risk being voted out of his company. With everything he’s worked toward on the line, Nassir desperately needs a bride, and only one woman will do.

Wedding planner Janna Davis never imagined she’d be summoned to the Middle East to plan Sheikh Nassir’s nuptials. But the outrageous sum he’s offered will finally give her what she needs to stand on her own two feet. As the planning gets underway, Janna is put off by Nassir’s businesslike manner, but she can’t deny his appeal. No matter what she’s feeling though, Janna has a job to do.

Janna values her independence and refuses to fall for a soon-to-be married man, but what will happen when she learns that she is Nassir’s intended bride?

3 in 1 - Great Listen!

What did you love best about The Adjalane Sheikhs?

You get 3 different couples in 3 different stories, yet they are all connected in some way throughout all of their stories.
I enjoyed how each brother had a different personality and a different perspective of their family and family business.

What does Nicholas Thurkettle bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Nicholas Thurkettle did a great job with the different voices and accents. It's extremely difficult for me to enjoy a male trying to do a female voice, but I found myself immersed in the story due to the great job Nicholas did.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I don't like to give book spoilers, so I will only say that a part that particularly moved me was during the last sandstorm. Everyone needs a wake-up call to realize what's important.

Any additional comments?

I'm such a sucker for these types of stories!

Ok I loved these stories. they are short and sweet, and have a little naughtiness thrown in.
My favorite outta of the 3 was the first one. I really liked Sheikh Nassir Adjalane and Jenna. The other two stories where good as well, and even had a few snippets from returning characters I enjoy reading about the other country and their traditional lifestyles. They are so different from the United States.
The narrator did a fine job at telling these stories.

I fell asleep, and the place I went back to, was almost the same

I would have liked to have the book number on the chapter index. I think I read it all, but the male voices were very similar.

Nice set of stories!

This was actually a box set of three stories set in a fictional middle eastern country that borders Saudi Arabia. The heroes are brothers, who don’t always get along- plus they have a controlling, domineering father who is Sheik. The heroine’s are all American girls, each in their country for some reason. I think the three guys are some kind of sneaky! Lol! There is a happy ending for each and the narration suited the setting.

Lovely Descriptive Writing

I listened to the stories in this box set in the wrong order, Book Three was my first experience of the Adjalane Sheikhs. I enjotyed that one so much I had to listen to the previous two.

Book one was a lovely introduction to the Adjalane family, the first book The Sheikh's Secret Bride is about Nassir, the middle son who has always put business before anything else. Because of business problems Nassir is given one month to marry or lose his place as head of the family business. But things are complicated further because he must marry an American woman.

At the wedding of an a friend he meet Janna, the wedding planner, and decides through fair means or not she is the one for him. He lures her to his own country under the pretence of organising his wedding, once she is there he has to work very hard to convince her to stay as his bride. There is a lot to this story, there is love, sex, deception and an evil relative who will stop at nothing to make sure Nassir fails.

Book two The Sheikh's Stubborn Bride is Adilan and Michelle's story. Adilan is the youngest brother and want's his father to put him in charge of the real estate part of the family business. He is in competition with the oldest of the the brothers Malid. They have totally different ideas about what is the right way to run the company. The winner will be the son who gets back a valuable piece of land which once belonged to their family but now belongs to an American woman. Michelle is the daughter of the owner of the land and has promised her mother that she will build a retreat on this lovely piece of land but once she meets Adilan her desire to succeed at all costs is put to the test.

The obstacles facing Adilan and Michelle are varied not least of which are evil deeds performed by Malid. (I can't tell you what they are, I don't do spoilers). Can true love win, can two totally different cultures combine, will old wounds be forgotten in the face of love?
All valid questions, and beautifully answered in this story.

Book three The Sheikh's Reluctant American is Malid and Nigella's story. Malid came across as a totally horrible person in book two but when you listen to book three you can't help but warm to him as love changes his perceptions.

I enjoyed listening to this story, it had a bit of everything, the prodigal son, the manipulative father, or in this case fathers! A daughter out to prove herself and so much more.

The descriptive writing made for a great escape from some dreary, rainy summer days here in the UK! I could almost taste the food and feel the heat and the sand. If I had to choose between the brothers? I couldn't, I really couldn't.

This was an enjoyable collection with some very good characters and some super steamy chemistry.
