I've gone this far, guess we'll see where this goe

In a short summary. Jess is screaming at someone for some reason through out the whole book.

Woman’s voice

The reader made the protagonist sound very harsh, and it was jarring to listen to.

Great adventure

This one is even better than book 2. There is action, cool tech( what's left of it anyway) and intrigue. Who are the real bad guys? Who's telling the truth or not? Nonstop action. Good thriller. I will just have to listen to the next one.

Worth a listen. Decent enough

Glad this is free, the narration is poor but bearable. The narrator makes everybody sound like a villian. So there is some confusion on dialogues.

Grrr. Despise incomplete books.

This is NOT a series of four books. It is one (exceedingly long) story that has been broken into four volumes. Total BS. If I had paid for these, I’d be seriously ticked off, and would be demanding a refund. Luckily, they were included in my membership at no additional cost. Sigh.

That being said, this is an entertaining, above-average story, and it is reasonably well-read. While I greatly enjoy the effort that was put into achieving some semblance of scientific accuracy, the author does tend to ramble on far more than is even remotely necessary. I actually like a good bit of detail, and I am not easily distracted, yet I find my attention frequently wandering off with these books.

I think, with the guidance of a talented editor, he could have wrapped this up in just a couple of volumes, and maybe even one book.

too much

too many new characters add to the third book, that really didnt add anything. no resolution at the end... and the whole series takes place in about 6 weeks time. needs a 4th book, to tie everything together, add some time to the storyline... and give the characters more depth (Giovanni, rafa, Lucas).... Jess seems to make most of the decisions... and is terrible at it.

Not as good as the other books.

This plot fell flat and there wasn’t as much action.

The characters have been developed through the series but in this one they were lackluster.

Narration ruins the whole book

I can’t describe how bad the narration is, from awful accents to messed up dialogues. What could be a fun story is ruined by the bad voice acting

Lies, Deception, Subterfuge

I am really drawn into this whole story. The narration helps keep the flow going and helps the reader understand who is speaking even when their names aren't said. There is so much cultural and sociopolitical backlash that it really stirs up thoughts of what the world would really come to. Being a realist with little hope in humanity itself the reality painted so far makes sense even if it is sad and scary.
