Publisher's Summary

In the early 1900s, a revival broke out in places like Los Angeles and Kansas that would become one of the most sweeping revivals Christendom has ever experienced. With this movement came a new experience, understanding, and appreciation for the power of the Holy Spirit. This is an in-depth look at the workings of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a promised blessing available to every believer. As a respected teacher, pastor, and evangelist, McGee offers a personal account of the miraculous, true-life happenings resulting from this gift. Using scripture and prophetic discernment, the author encourages the church of today to embrace again a power that is often missing, the power of the "Pentecostal" experience.

The truth about the NEED of the Holy Spirit

Pastor McGee was able to tell the truth! I couldn't agree more with the how much our churches need a revival with the Holy Spirit. He explains so clearly how to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, the benefits of being baptized, and the promise that has been given to us by Jesus for the baptism with the Holy Spirit!

Very disappointed!

I listened to about 1.5 hours of this book and could listen NO MORE! The narrator/author spoke very haltingly, stopping frequently in mid-sentence and I found it to be very distracting.
I am very interested in the subject, but the author keeps repeating himself, and I found myself saying aloud, "get to the point!!"
I am sorry I wasted my credit on this book.
