Publisher's Summary

Celebrated for their courage, vision, hospitality, and spiritual giftedness, it's no wonder women were so important to God's plan revealed in the Old and New Testaments. It wasn't their natural qualities that made these women extraordinary but the power of the one true God whom they worshipped and served. In Twelve Extraordinary Women, you'll learn more than fascinating information about these women, you'll discover - perhaps for the first time-the unmistakable chronology of God's redemptive work in history through their lives. These women were not ancillary to His plan, they were at the very heart of it.

A great disappointment

I was delighted with this audiobook until the author began discussing the Blessed Virgin Mary. Then he began bashing the Catholic church and those who honor the Mother of Jesus. It was obvious that this author knows very little of what he was talking about. I could not finish listening to this audiobook because of this author's disregard for this very Holy woman. It was a great disappointment.

A must read

This book must land in your eyes if not on your book shelf. This is a great reference book about how, why and most important who is in the Bible. I would suggest this book to anyone who reads this!
