Publisher's Summary

The church has been deceived into thinking wrongly about the end times for nearly 100 years , as Christians everywhere have been improperly propagandized about end-times doctrines that have no biblical basis. Is there really a deliberate, calculated effort to mislead the people of God? How did the Creator intend for the scriptures to be interpreted? Do modern theologians apply proper hermeneutics to the Bible?Modern end-times theology does not tell us very much of God's truth due to the fact that most eschatological teaching depends upon false suppositions and ungodly motives on the part of those who teach such doctrines. The true story is told here by simply interpreting the Bible the way the God of the universe intended you to receive his word-unadulterated.Join author Michael Harley in The Rapture: What the Bible Really Says and learn the proper way of understanding God's plan for the ages. If you seek to learn what God actually wrote about the last days, it should make sense to learn from the source that God has given us: the Bible. The Rapture: What the Bible Really Says delves into this era of deceit and posits ways the church can find its way back home. What we need to do to fix our way of thinking about the end times.

Such a complete disappointment

I agree with the history of "the rapture" doctrine, but I was so disappointed with the lack of scholarship, the blatant sectarianism and the almost "smart aleck" remarks made throughout while reflecting on others knowledge, lack of it, etc. What a waste of my time and money.

Such a dissapointment!

What disappointed you about The Rapture?

The author constantly talks about how what others believe is wrong. He very rarely tells what he believes or backs up his statements with scripture. When he does, he takes the scriptures out of context. You might be tempted to ignore the reviews and buy it anyway, but resist the urge. Find another book.

Would you ever listen to anything by W. Michael Harley again?

With his writing style and wrong beliefs? No.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The only thing I love about this book is its absence.
