Publisher's summary

The Honeymoon Effect: A state of bliss, passion, energy, and health resulting from a huge love. Your life is so beautiful that you can't wait to get up to start a new day and you thank the Universe that you are alive. Think back on the most spectacular love affair of your life - the Big One that toppled you head over heels. For most, it was a time of heartfelt bliss, robust health, and abundant energy - a first-hand experience of Heaven on Earth. Imagine what it would be like if you could maintain the Honeymoon Effect throughout your whole life.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton describes how the Honeymoon Effect was not a chance event or a coincidence, but a personal creation. Here Dr. Lipton reveals how we manifest the Honeymoon Effect and the reasons why we lose it. This knowledge empowers listeners to create the honeymoon experience again, this time in a way that ensures a happily-ever-after relationship that even a Hollywood producer would love. With authority, eloquence, and an accessible style, Lipton covers the influence of quantum physics (good vibrations), biochemistry (love potions), and psychology (the conscious and subconscious minds) in creating and sustaining loving relationships. He also asserts that we can learn from the example of the harmonious relationships of our 50 trillion cells to create a "super organism" called humanity that can heal our planet.

Really just a veiled advertisement.

It was an awesome book right until the end when you're ready for the big reveal, the gist of it all, the way you can make everything Bruce swears is possible, happen.

It is then that you find out that the book is not a manual, or an instruction set on how to achieve all the wonders described, but an advertisement for psych-K and the others.

I thought that advertisements were always free. Turns out that not in this case. I paid my hard earned money to in the end be redirected towards the solution elsewhere. sadly this is the second book from Bruce Lipton that uses the exact same scheme, apart from being a slight update. His website acts very similarly, pay up to get referral links to energy psychology businesses.

Here's the kicker: check out Bruce's interview with Tom Campbell up on youtube and in 2 hours you will learn everything essential to this books for free.

Having said that, I do believe that Bruce deserves to be paid well for the information he puts out there, but it is info that he claims to be life changing, but at the end he does not give you the tools, the how-to which was supposed to be the whole point altogether.

it was a good book nonetheless.

Major Disappointment

Any additional comments?

I am a HUGE Bruce Lipton fan. I have listened to his three previous books numerous times and have gotten a lot out of them, so I was very excited to see a new book available on Audible. This book is nothing like the others. This book appears to have some agendas to it, it seems like it was recorded in a hurry and you can tell that Bruce's heart is just not in it. He reads it word for word with no feeling. It is like he is doing it for someone else or some other reason. Not like in his previous books where he speaks with enthusiasm and you think he is speaking from the heart and not reading a manuscript. Yes there is some good information but it was tedious to listen to . Such a let-down.

fascinating information

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes. It is very interesting and also applicable to everyday life.

How could the performance have been better?

Bruce lipton is clearly really inspired by his topics but he speaks very fast when presenting.

Not the same energy as in The Biology of Belief

I bought this book expecting the same awesomeness as in The Biology of Belief. I am sorry to report, that for me and in my opinion, this book was lacking. I couldn't hear the same excitement in Lipton's voice that caught me in The Biology of Belief. At time the monotonous tones in random areas, and exuberance in others was difficult to support. His speech even sounded slurred at times. I really wish I could get my money back. I would buy another of Lipton's audio books. Did I mention I loved The Biology of Belief? :-)

Perfect timing

Loved this book. Perfect timing for where I'm at on life. This needs to be taught in school, starting in the 1st grade.

amazing information!

search solutions like eutaptics to continue healing and get to the root of problems. subconscious programs are powerful, uppit musty be able to figure them out and then replace them. the book doesn't give solutions that have worked for me.

Narration sound not good

The book is lovely, i really enjoyed the gist of it. My only complaint was that, the voice narrating the book. It is pretty jarring.
