Story
After admonishing believers in Corinth for their sinful ways and abuse of grace, Paul writes a second letter, commending them for their positive response to his first letter. He expresses his joy in hearing that they've repented and embraced his teachings. Paul then goes on to encourage believers to "...take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). Story
In Ephesians, Paul gives us a detailed description of Church members' relationship to Christ. The apostle is writing to strengthen the churches of Ephesus. He tells them, "In him [Jesus] you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." (Ephesians 2:22) This reminds us that we are all part of the "body" of Christ, his Church. Listen to Paul, and be encouraged about your role in redemptive history.

Many believers have found these prayers of Israel to be a source of comfort and hope and especially helpful in their own prayer lives. Although this is Israel’s book of prayers, it is also an enduring prayer book for God’s people forever. Listen to the Psalms and be astounded by each poem’s relevancy to your own life.

Believers will reign forever in perfect communion and fellowship with the Lord himself. Listen to John’s revelation, and receive a foretaste of the day when God will “wipe away all tears”.

Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Revelation makes it clear that the material world will be restored completely, and God’s people will live in a new world based on love, justice, and peace. Believers will reign forever in perfect communion and fellowship with the Lord himself. Listen to John’s revelation, and receive a foretaste of the day when God will “wipe away all tears”.

Story
The King James Version of the Bible, with its flowing language and rhythmic prose, has had a profound influence on the literature of the past 400 years and is the greatest English translation ever produced. Early in the 19th century, however, the British and Foreign Bible Society decided to exclude the 14 books known as 'The Apocrypha'. Today, English Bibles with the Apocrypha are becoming more popular again. Now for the first time, the original unexpurgated version of the King James Bible - complete with all of the Apocrypha - is available as an audiobook

Peaceful Enjoyment
It is just so good and peaceful to hear the Word of God read to you. The narration is wonderful. There is nothing robotic or strange about it. So ‘Thank You’ listening was peaceful and warm. This New Testament book of Revelation is not my first and won’t be my last. I do recommend to everyone.

Strange emphasis
I liked the sample, but when I purchased it and started listening more there was this strange dramatization that came out, esp. regarding the healing of the man with the devils. Reader attempts to sound possessed. Very offputting. Wish I hadn't wasted a credit on it. Definitely not recommending.

Everything is great except the written chapter headings. The heading just reads as chapter 1,2,3 etc. It would more helpful if the heading read Matthew Chapter 1, Matthew Chapter 2, etc.

Do not purchase from audible!
I checked this audio book out from the local library using the Libby App. On Libby, the chapters are clearly delineated and you know precisely where you are. For example Matthew chapter 1, or Acts of the Apostles chapter 5 etc. I was duly impressed so I sought to purchase the book; which you cannot do from the Libby App. The audio book is available for purchase via Audible. With audible, its a complete train wreck. The various books are not marked and you basically have no clue where you are. There is no way to navigate other than by guessing. I'm at a loss as to how the Libby App can get it so right and audible gets it so wrong. There should be a way to get your money back when a book is done this poorly; leaving the reader with no way to navigate or start anywhere in the book.
