If you are like most people, you probably believe that prayer is an exaltation, an ecstasy. Franciscan Father Murray Bodo says that for him, prayer is often more like a desert. This is the journey of prayer as he has experienced it, and as he would share it with us, especially those of us who are discouraged or desperate because we cannot pray. Or because of those deeper reasons that make prayer seem so hopeless right now. That brokenness or hurt that won’t heal. That darkness which seems too deep for any light to penetrate. Father Murray wants you to know that you are not alone. Assisted by original songs from Susan Saint Sing, Father Murray encourages us to remember that our loving God journeys with us, even through the driest deserts.
