I appreciated a synopsis of Tyndale's life followed by a more detailed chronology. A bit too much detail on footnotes.
This man made the ultimate sacrifice to put the best translation of God's Word into the hands of English speaking people.

At times it read a bit like Lawson took several of his research papers from seminary and put them into a book. The chapters felt self contained and repeated the same phrases again and again, “the plow boy” was mentioned at least 50 times. Overall the book did inspire me and I am great full for the information. I highly recommend this book! Tyndall’s legacy needs to live on and I’m going to check out the rest of the books in this series!
What did you like most about The Daring Mission of William Tyndale?
If you are interested in how Tyndale and others fought to get the bible into the common mans hands, then this is the book.
Tyndale's love of the bible and his determination to translate it into the English language, and stay alive whilst "on the run", will keep the suspense from start to finish.
What other book might you compare The Daring Mission of William Tyndale to, and why?
I would highly recommend reading The Book Of Fire, by Brian Moynahan.
and although it goes into more detail than The Daring Mission of William Tyndale.
I would still recommend reading the latter.
