Great explaination of theology

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend this to anyone interested in the study of why Catholic Church does the things that they do. It is fair, open minded, and not condemning of even the themes that the author disagrees with. I truly enjoy the non-judgemental way of presentation.

What does R. C. Sproul bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr. Sproul brings a huge amount of great theology, and thorough knowledge of Biblical themes, and Catholic practices. He also brings a very deep knowledge of the history of the church in general, and the catholic church in particular.

As a Catholic, I found it hurtful and offensive

What was most disappointing about R. C. Sproul’s story?

I found the wording and phrasing of the lectures to be hurtful and offensive as a Roman Catholic. He makes the Church sound ugly, archaic and wrong. I expected a more factual, unbiased discussion of the differences between the Catholic and Protestant canons.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The recording was very bad and the volume changes throughout the lecture series.
