Publisher's Summary

If Brad Jersak's Can You Hear Me? primed your heart for listening prayer, this 40-day spiritual exercise will help make it a lifestyle. Walk with Eden and Brad Jersak as you present God with 40 life-changing questions and receive God's answers. These encounters will lead you to new depths of hearing God's voice and seeing God's face.
Rivers From Eden is designed to help listeners make "listening prayer" a lifestyle. It models an approach to prayer in which your time spent with God becomes an intimate, interactive meeting.
The premise, laid out in detail in Can You Hear Me?, is that all of God's children can learn to hear his voice (Job. 33:14, John 10:27) and see his face (Heb. 12:2, 2 Cor. 4:6).
When the eyes and ears of your heart are opened, prayer becomes a real meeting with a living friend.

Great Book, Easy to Visualize

Where does Rivers from Eden rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks high because I enjoyed the content and the narrator's voice. The narrator's voice is the deciding factor for me. Even if it's a book I want to read, if the voice is horrible, I won't listen or just get the physical copy.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene about the heart and God backing up the machine to dig up what was there. It was such a great analogy.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the book and the visuals that the authors gave to describe each conversation made it easy to understand. I found the narration clean, crisp, and clear. Her voice was soothing and the story telling voice made the book more enjoyable.

Be not afraid, for I am with you always

Are you comfortable being in deep conversation with God? This audiobook is designed to assist you in becoming more at ease with this practice. This is not a denominational agenda, but a God centered way of dealing with things in your life. 40 days does not signify a time-stepped feel-good program asking for money, but a logical kind of progression toward an interactive communication between you and God. Adopting the approach presented here can only enrich every part of your life.
There is no question that the reader has found personal benefit from being involved in this production. You can hear it. Yes, she has a pleasant speaking voice with clear enunciation and appropriate cadencing, but there is that indefinable 'something more' which indicates personalization.
I gained much from this gift
