The great Indian epic - the Ramayana - has been told and retold over thousands of years by poets, performers, and writers. It is a tale of courage and fear, love and hate, devotion and betrayal. The epic spans the three worlds of gods, humans, and demons. Here, the forces of good and evil collide, locked in a battle for the ultimate supremacy. "A remarkable listening experience "

It was very refreshing to find such a well written and fine rendition of this classic.
By using well-crafted dialect , authentic sounding accents, Shreyas and Ayur believably dramatizes the wide range of characters in Ramayana. The narration captured the emotional heart of this audiobook.
The different character voices were quite distinct and it was easy to stay with the storyline.
I highly recommend this book on Audible.

Proud of the idea and perfect narration!

Years of hard work, perseverance and shraddha has resulted in a lively, interesting retelling of the ancient epic. Kudos to the boys and their parents in bringing out a classic in a new format. The flute interlude is simple and just apt. Look forward to more such presentations. Anuradha , Gautama, Atreya

Brilliantly written and Narrated.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Ramayan is a story my grandfather would narrate to me when I was a child, and living in India was something I grew up with and just knew . However, being an epic it is also a long and the language in the previous versions I have read was difficult to follow and not as engaging at times. I would certainly recommend this audiobook to anyone who would like to know this story but simply does not have the time or drive to read the original version.

What did you like best about this story?

Although the book is fairly brief considering the length of the original epic, it covers the salient parts of the epic in an easy engaging style. The language is easy to follow and eloquently descriptive.

What about Ayur Pulle and Shreyas Pulle ’s performance did you like?

Ayur and Shreyas were articulate and expressive. The narration was clear and crisp.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely.. I listened to this book in one sitting.
