Publisher's Summary

America's leading psychic takes an entertaining, illuminating look at major prophecies and offers her own predictions of what will happen next. Will we find a cure for cancer? Will humans colonize Mars? Will an asteroid hit Earth? How long will it be until peace prevails in the Middle East? Is nuclear war approaching? We all want to know what to expect, especially in these uncertain times.
For nearly half a century, Sylvia Browne has been the psychic people turn to for answers. In this fascinating book, she considers all of the major prophecies from the past, including those from the Bible, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, even George Washington and other important historical figures. She gives her own predictions of what life will be like in 5, 10, 20, 100, and 500 years, and shares the comforting, reassuring message about what the future holds for all of us.

This Book Makes The Author Look Like A Fraud

I don't know much about Sylvia Brown, but going by the fact that NONE of her predictions in this book are accurate (excluding of course those that are supposedly going to happen in 2020+), I am in serious doubt about her abilities. She might be a real psychic, but she doesn't appear to have the gift of accurate prophecy. There's also a significant amount of fear mongering in this book, which feels unnecessary. I do NOT recommend it. That being said, the beginning hour where she discusses the stories of different prophets such as Edgar Cayce, Madame Blavatsky, Nostradamus, etc... is interesting.

Interesting theories

I really liked the first half of the book. Sylvia has researched theories and past history and presented it well. I wasn't as impressed with the second half of the book which included her prophecies about the future.
