24 hours through the bible is awesome

Very stimulating, invoked a greater desire to study the bible. Brought a deeper awe towards God as the creator.

it only goes to chapter 12 instead of 24

very interesting yet disappointed that it does not cover all 24 hours or chapters, like the description.

confused

Would you consider the audio edition of Learn the Bible in 24 Hours to be better than the print version?

no the print version is old and new testament. this was just old. how can you learn the bible in 24 hrs if it is just the o.t.?

What other book might you compare Learn the Bible in 24 Hours to and why?

the whole book old and new.

Did Chuck Missler do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

very technical but a lot of good material also.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

don't

Any additional comments?

guess i'll have to purchase the n.t.

Half of the Bible is missing!

Despite the title this program, it only covered the Old testament (first 12 of the authors lectures) Why isn't the 2nd part (New Testament) included?

Fantastic commentary with one problem.

I love the commentator and I will listen to more of his material 100%. I love his perspective and he is clearly very well educated in the bible. The problem is; you already have to know the bible in order to understand what he is saying here. This is not for beginners like you would think from the title. He completely skips over important details that a novice would need to know in order to even understand any of it. For example: he doesn't explain that Cain and Able were the sons of Adam and Eve. Or that Moses was a Hebrew raised in royalty (he completely skips over his origin story). In other words, he speaks with the assumption that his audience has already read the Bible! Which was very confusing for someone like me who is a beginner.

Commenting on the Bible in 24 hours is a big undertaking and he goes really fast through things so you really need to pay attention and maybe take notes on what you don't understand to follow up on later. He does do a great job at highlighting the auspiciousness and holiness of the bible and I have thoroughly enjoyed this even though he's left out a lot of things. Side note, if you truly are a beginner and just want to know more, go read a children's bible! You will get through all the important events quickly. Then you can go back and listen to a commentary like this one for more in-depth understanding.

*Note, this audiobook covers the old testament, so its only half of the commentary. You need to buy the second half in order to hear the new testament.
