God and Job

The Old Testament’s answer to the question of suffering shows neither God or his victim needing justification. I was expecting it to be read with the sonority of a Charlton Griffin, but LeVar Burton gave a more down-to-earth interpretation, as if Job and his accusers, lowly humans that they were, had to struggle to find the words to express their thoughts. I thought this approach worked well with the humans but not so well when the Lord himself was speaking from the whirlwind. I loved the recording and expect I will re-hear it often as I grow older.
