Publisher's summary

Just like Superman, who can leap over any hurdle and defeat every foe, followers of Christ have the supernatural ability to conquer the challenges we face. But the problem for both Superman and us is there's a kryptonite that steals our strength.

Of course, both Superman and kryptonite are fictional. But spiritual kryptonite is not. This book offers answers to why so many people - and the churches they attend - are unable to experience the divine strength that was evident among the first-century Christians.

In Killing Kryptonite, John Bevere reveals what this kryptonite is, why it's compromising our churches, and how to break free from its bondage.

Not for the faint of heart, Killing Kryptonite is anything but a spiritual sugar high. This is serious truth for any Christ-follower who longs to embrace the challenging but rewarding path of transformation.

Thank you for reading your own book Mr. Bevere

I appreciate when the author reads the book. I love the emphasis where the emphasis should be. May God continue to bless you all. May the World be changed by this book and God's World to strive to be Holy like our Lord and Savior.

John Bevere is a False Teacher (2 Peter 2:2)

After reading this book, I have realized that John Bevere plays a game of two-truths and a lie. On the one hand he makes great arguments towards the importance of repentance and holiness, but in the same breathe he twists scriptural truth to satisfy the dispensational doctrine of the abolishment of the Law of God.

With this, his whole basis of "killing kryptonite" (which he uses as an analogy to describe idolatry) falls short because it is with the whole Law of God that we attain holiness (Exodus 19:5-6). The Law of God is perfect (Psalm 19:7) and it is eternal (Psalm 119:160); therefore, it is through God's Law we come to understand how we overcome sin: turning towards God's ways. We are justified through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and sanctified by His Word, which is truth (John 17:17): the whole truth, not just half of the Bible as John likes to iterate.

John Bevere twists the Word of God to water down the true gospel preached at Mt. Sinai (Acts 7:38). Watch out for this wolf in sheep's clothing. Be a Berean and check the scriptures yourselves!

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

INCREDIBLE WORLD CHANGING BOOK!!

The title alludes to an excellent analogy used as the premises of the book, that we are meant to be powerful and supernatural, like Superman, but spiritual kryptonite robs us of our strength and power. The most impressive aspect of this book is how John Bevere breaks down the scriptures with incredible theological insight to communicate a powerful truth. Reading this book will give you the theological basis and inspiration to destroy things in your life that hinder you from walking in the fullness the power God has given you. I believe if every Christian read this book, the result would be widespread, culture shifting, miraculous revival!

Always full of God given wisdom

John, Lisa and team do so much to spend the good news and they do it with so much love for our Lord! This book will help even the follower who’s been serving or seeking God and help us steer clear of idols and offending our Holy Father. Thanks John!

Wasted 8 hrs.

I wish I had my 8 hrs back. If I had to follow all of these sin conscious laws to have a relationships with God. I would rather live my life as a non believer with out having this treadmill of sin awareness to receive Gods love.
