Smarter than Yesterday

I've been curious about Kabbalah for almost a decade, so I finally began my journey with this beginners book. For me, this book was an excellent choice and has intrigued me enough to pursue some of the other books recommended.

Gratefully, it was easy to follow, not too wordy, and the author has explained the concepts nicely for the beginner. They were not over my head, yet, certainly not elementary. I believe this is a subject that one should have an interest in to enjoy this book, otherwise it might be dry. Or surprising?

The areas that were not "highlights" for me, were a few dry spots, Or maybe I got distracted. Also, a few ideas seemed repetitive, in my opinion. That said, I understand it's probably because these areas are perhaps important to Kabbalah, so the author has made an effort to help the reader actually learn these points.

In closing, I'm appreciative the author has been clear that this book is only a place to begin, a jumping off point, and Kabbalah is "life" learning for forever.

I'm happy with my purchase, and the book had the information I was seeking.
I will be listening again, because these teachings or ideas require one to stop, offer mindful attention, and even meditate on some of the principles.

Kabbalah Introduction

What made the experience of listening to Kabbalah for Beginners the most enjoyable?

Didn't know much about the Kabbalah before this book. Interesting to hear some of the concepts.

Did Martin Popplewell do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Martin Popplewell is just a OK narrator.

Any additional comments?

This is truly an introduction. One would need to research the Kabbalah much deeper in order to have any true impact on one's life.
