Publisher's Summary

A Journey Beyond the Veil of Life and Death
We have all wondered what happens to us after we die, but did you know that you are connected to the afterlife right now? According to Cyndi Dale, our souls evolve through spiritual dimensions that are linked to our physical bodies at this very moment - and we can access our souls at any time for insight, wisdom, and healing.
With Illuminating the Afterlife, this renowned psychic and intuitive healer presents a powerful vision of the "Planes of Light" that exist beyond this lifetime, along with guided practices to open up the territory that is usually available only after death. Join this gifted teacher to discover:

Answers to the most common questions about the afterlife: Is there really a heaven and a hell? What are ghosts, and why do they manifest?
The chakras and the afterlife - how each Plane of Light connects to your body through these energy centers
How to make contact with your spirit guides and the masters of each dimension of the afterlife
Meditations for safely traveling past the threshold of death to receive knowledge, peace, healing energy, and divine love

Drawing upon her extensive experience as an energy healer and scholar of thanatology (the study of death from medical, psychological, and spiritual perspectives), Cyndi Dale takes us through a modern-day Book of the Dead, full of insights into the most mystifying questions of our mortal existence. With Illuminating the Afterlife, she invites you on a journey to transcend the fear of death and experience the "soul's joyous voyage from darkness into light".

too many contradictions and inaccuracies

What disappointed you about Illuminating the Afterlife?

Dale contradicts herself all over the place. When an author does that, it makes everything she writes unbelievable. She comes up with some very big statements about death and dying - and living as well - but is all sounds like dribble because of the contradictions. She is also inaccurate in several places adding to the unbelievability of the her statements. Where does she get this stuff? I've read a bit about this subject and it does seem to me that she has borrowed from several different sources and thrown them together - without fact checking first!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The author is a terrible narrator. She mispronounces words like especially ("expecially") and room ("rum".) So annoying to listen to I almost had to stop! That sounds like superficial review of her performance I know but English is English - no matter what part of the county you're from. There is no x in especially! Sorry Cyndi!

What character would you cut from Illuminating the Afterlife?
